Rune Heart looked up at the moonrise. Soon it will be that hour, the hour that all stands still. Other Helix didn't believe him when he told them of the dead hour. One where everything took on a strange tinge, everything fell into dead silence, and everything stopped... Right in its tracks. The birds hung suspended by some unseem force. Words as well, echoing eerily, unable to reach sound ears. Rune whimpered, though he knew it didn't really help in any way. He wished, he wished fiercly. That someone would believe him. Someone would see...

*Takashen was wandering far from this sight of the other Helix.He saw a strange looking helix pup looking up at the moon. He walked over to the wolf*
"Who are you?" Takshen went up and asked the strange wolf. As he was a wolf he knew he could not be away for two long

Rune looked up at the other wolf. He hadn't heard the other pup coming, but he wasn't startled or surprised. People and all always snuck up on you. No use being surprised. The pup went immediatly to the point, for which Rune was gratful for. "My name is Rune Heart. You are?" Not that he needed to be told, thoughts usually echoed in the Twilight Hour. He'd learned alot from these. Still, it was good manners.
He looked the pup up and down, an odd one; rather like him, but on a different level. He was genuinely interested in this pup.
((Want me to cut and clean Takashen? Cleaning, as in it'll be transparent around when you put him over document and such. PNG))

Takashen look over at the other wolf "My name is Takashen. I over heard you muttering and though i would come and see if you need help" He went over and sat next to rune

Rune Heart nodded politely, not really expecting to interact with the pup much longer, as the day came to a close, bringing the Twilight hour with it. "No, it's nothing you clould help in. No one really." But before he had to go, Rune's curiosity got the better of him. "Where did you get your odd emsemble?" As if he himself wasn't odd, what with the blades on his tail and pwculiar half feathered, half leather wings.

"My parents were both winged, feather-winged..." he sounded nostalgic. "But they didn't kick me out. We had no pack. They loved me... But..." He didn't wish to remember.
Just then came the deafening silence of the Twilight hour. The fur on Rune stood up on end as the Whispers, the People's last thoughts before this time, slowly reached towards him.

Rune's initial fear burned out. He really had to get over it all. Being afraid didn't fix anything. All there was now was to get moving. He didn't wish to be sitting in one creepy place being followed by many People's thoughts for an hour. He knew he couldn't sleep. It did no good. He had to be concious, or time didn't move. It was like a punishment, bad Karma in his previous life. Lives even, for this was very cruel and unusual punishment.
Rune Heart suddenly noticed something from the corner of his eye. Specteres, he thought a split second. But when he turned to see, he was amazed to see the strange pup was moving. Or was he possessed!? Rune's gasp turned into a pathetic growl. But what if... He wasn't alone?

Takashen looked over at rune he seamed to be staring and his eyes were wide with fear. He walked over to rune and looked him in the eyes. "What is wrong?" Why are you still?? im fine" He walked over to the other side and sniffed and his heart it was still beating

Rune calmed down a bit, but he still didn't want to be touched. He shied away at the last inch. "You, can move..." Then, realizing that the pup probably wouldn't understand, he made to walk off. He paused a moment, to see if Takashen would follow. If he knew about the Twilight hour, he probably wouldn't.

Takashen saw Rune back away from him when he got close. He saw him going away. He ran off to follow him. He wanted to to know what in the would was going on and why this wolf was acting so strangely. He bounded off after Rune.

Rune strode about until he foud what he was looking for. Two helix in mid fight. Their souls sang out with terrible ferocity. He wanted to know how much like him this one was. Could he hear the Whispers? Rune turned to Takashen, which was making an impossible ammount of noise, seeing as the ground underneath his feet didn't go very far when it was no longer touched. "Shh," he told the pup, "Can you hear?" He noted in his voice, he sounded almost... Hopeful...

Takashen stood still. He did hear somthing it was like faint whispers as if something was trying to talk to him or wanted him. Was this wolf some kind of spirit Helix or something?? He looked around no other wolf was in sight

Rune was amused when Takashen turned to him, surprise plastered on his face. He shook his head; no, it wasn't him. He lead the pup to where the two adult helix were, one was frozen in mid-leap. Rune stood in front of the helix's jaws to show Takasken that the larger helix was not a threat. He wouldn't be for quite a while. He wouldn't even have the memory of the two strangelings, he couldn't see them.
"They can't see us, can't feel us, can't sense..." Rune let this sink in before he continued. "They're frozen in time, and we," Rune spread his wings towards Takashen. He didn't really know what to call it. "We're, just... different." He tried to manage a sort of smile.
