There are actualy 2 or 3 other gates. They lead to the Forest, the traing grounds, and the rest of Fire country. Unless you are a member of the Leaf Village (excluding missing nin) you can't poof into the village from outside the gates. You can however poof to the gate. There is a special barryer around the village that will allert the Leaf ninja of any alien presences.

Itachi and Kisame walked towards the gates, this time, they had their cloak backwards and their face was covered with a smaller straw hat, without the bell. Kisame's sword was in a very big bag for Kisame so no one would recognize it. When they entered the village, they headed for the hospital. If they were gonna track Naruto, they will have to follow one of his teammate.

ZeTsu rose from the ground, looked around then went back under to enter the village undetected.

Itachi and Kisame waited outside the village for Sakura, away from sight so no other ninjas would be able to see them. "You think she'll come?"Itachi nodded. "Probably. Expect company though. Most people don't follow that rule of coming alone when told."Kisame chuckled at this.

Yamato was walking up to the village and could be seen in the distance. He could sense an extremely large chakra from somewhere (kisame) but he ignored it and started to walk slower than before.

Itachi and Kisame both watched Yamato from where they were hiding. Just in case.

Yamato then stopped in his footsteps and just stood there focusing on the environment. The chakra was large to the point where it was uncomfortable.

Itachi realized what was wrong. Kisame seem to have that kind of affect. He whispered to Kisame to try to hide his chakra. Kisame did, making it hardly noticeable, like if he had walked away. (Hey whats the difference between ninjas sensing chakra and Karin sensing chakra?)

Yamato realized that the chakra was now gone completely. He knew that only a skilled ninja could hide that large chakra so quickly and precisely. "come out" He called realizing that it made no sense to hide because he was in the middle of the trail leading to the great Konoha gates.
((you know i asked myself that question many times before, maybe she can sense it clearer idk. hey you dont look so shabby with your rping skills. Maybe i get to kick your a** today also. (dont take that offensive i say that to everyone, just ask hiten.) ))

(Karin's ability to sense chakra is unusualy high. She can sense chakra up to a 1 mile radius)

Itachi sighed then nodded for Kisame to go out alone. Kisame nodded and came out smirking. "Looks like you found me. Impressive. But I'm afraid I can't let you live now. Though I might if you wouldn't mind telling me where I can find find Naruto Uzumaki. Itachi watched the whole thing hidden. It was actually a good idea a Leaf ninja sensed them. Perfect bait for when and if Sakura arrives. (Makes sense. And no offense taken.)

"no way i'm telling you." It was completely obvious that the uniform gave Kisame away, he was from akatsuki. Yamato turned to kisame casually looking him in the eye.

"Then I guess you die then." Kisame charged forth with Samehada, which is still wrapped up, and swung it down to look like he was gonna cut him. Itachi, however silently created a Shadow Clone that left to the hospital.
