Sakura stretched as she left the hospital. She had been working with a few nurses in the ward and ER. The kunoichi headed over to Naruto's apartment, hoping he was there. She passed a dark haired boy who gave her a fake smile. She stoped and stared at his retreating back. What had supprised her was that he looked an awful like Sasuke, yet completely different.

Naruto ran down the street from his apartment. He was fully prepaired for a day of training. He then saw Sakura and stopped "Sakura chan!" He then saw the dark haired boy and quickly added "Who are you?"

"Naruto, I've been looking for you," Sakura smiled
"Ah, So you're Naruto." The boy turned back around and gave the blond a fake smile. He slowly pulled out a scroll and a brush that was hiden inside. He made a few handsigns. Opening it, he drew a picture at lightning speed and two cat-like monsters jumped out and attacked Naruto and Sakura.

Stunned at the speed that the boy had drawn the cat like creatchers Naruto stood still. Then snapped out of ammazement he quickly made sevral shadow clones and used Uzumaki barage on the one headed for him while a clone did it to the one going towards Sakura. "Who are you?" he demanded no one from the leaf would attack a ninja, it was kind of a sin of sins here.

The boy narrowed his eyes and drew something else. A giant dragon emerged from the scroll and charged at it. Sakura intervened and punched it in the face. Ink splashed everywhere but she managed to keep it from getting in her eyes. The dark haired boy was nowhere in sight. Sakura narrowed her eyes at the spot he had been seconds later. "He got away."

Naruto was drenched in ink. He managed to wipe some of the ink away from his eyes. "He's lucky next time I see him he's gonna get a face full of me!" he clenched his fist. "Should we tell grandma Tsunade 'bout him?"

Sakura nodded, wipping off the rest of the ink from her arms and legs. "Yeah. He could be a threat to the village."

When you could be anyone, who would you be? It was a problem he mulled over every morning, along with why he'd chosen his current form. Normally, such mundane things would barely cross his mind, but away from the world he knew and the one who had created and controlled him for the past several centuries, Envy was feeling...free. Oh the hate was still there. It always would be. His twisted mind still found humor in the most violent of circumstances, as well. It was simply liberating to no longer be forced into following orders by the simple threat of having his own remains thrown back at him. His first days in this strange new world were confusing at best. He had since learned much about this mysterious 'justu' and how it wouldn't help him in the least. Something in the mysterious power of the Gate had left him with his shifting ability, though, and that was enough. The transplanted homonculous sat atop a building, glaring down at the streets of what he understood to be a prominent town. They had to be here. Without Dante on his back, he was free to pursue his dear half-siblings in his own demented ways. However, thoughts of revenge had been pushed to the side as he observed the mysterious powers of this world. Drawings coming to life? Spontaneous duplication? Envy gave an annoyed scoff, both of those could be useful skills if employed for the right reasons. But, Envy's sense of 'right' was about as off as it comes. They were just kids, too! How unfair. He settled back once more, lazily turning violet eyes to the sky. Could those kids climb walls? Jump dozens of feet in the air? Who knew, but he really wasn't concerned about anyone finding him. After all, in the centuries he'd been alive he'd learned one useful thing. Humans rarely looked up.

It was simply liberating to no longer be forced into following orders by the simple threat of having his own remains thrown back at him. His first days in this strange new world were confusing at best. Alchemy was non-existent and had been replaced by another strange power. He had since learned much about this mysterious 'justu' and how it wouldn't help him in the least. Something in the mysterious power of the Gate had left him with his shifting ability, though, and that was enough. He'd never been able to use alchemy anyway. Eventually, staring at clouds grew boring and the homonculous pushed himself up. He leaped off the roof, landing in the street more heavily, it seemed, than someone with his light build should. This town was dull. The fight earlier had been his only entertainment all day. Where was the war? The chaos!? Even that last dimension he'd been trapped in had been more chaotic than this! Envy growled lightly in annoyance and turned down a random street. Maybe he should pick someone at random, use their appearance, and cause a little mischief? Ah, but then the question became: Who? Which of these boring humans would make a good mask? Ugh. He needed more discord in his life. The past several centuries, his life had been nothing but carrying out orders and disrupting nations. He'd even started wars! This new place was too peaceful...
