Okay, this is the big question... Emily or Victoria? I really want to discuss this; my debate skills are getting rusty. I've got six years of debating under my belt, and I didn't get to do any this summer. I think Victoria was the right choice. I'll give you my reasons once others come along.

Just because I'm me, I have to go with Emily. She was so sweet. Not at all what you'd expect from someone who's dead.

I think Emily too, but I have to say that her character was much more explored and has much, much more depth then Victoria's.

I think any woman who would allow the man she loved to poison himself is not very good to have. Even though Victor was being so sweet about it and even though Emily was a total doll, Emily still has a very jealous and needy attitude. By allowing Victor to croak, even though they'd be together, Emily was being selfish and not loving. Victor wanted to go back to Victoria, but Emily wouldn't let him. Greedy much?

Featauril I think Emily too, but I have to say that her character was much more explored and has much, much more depth then Victoria's. Agreed. I didn't see near as much depth in Victoria as I did in Emily.

Emily without a doubt, she so caring and sweet even though she's dead. Also, Victor really loved her, he only went with Victoria because they were supposed to get married and Emily told him to.

I liked Emily better. She was, by far, cooler than Victoria. But... I do see the need for Victor to marry Victoria... I don't know... sweatdrop right now I'm really tired and don't feel like having a debate. But I am a debate queen in my region, so I'll come back later and we can go at it. xp

Of course, the movie IS named after her, so...

I think we all can see that Emily is the superior woman, here. Her chaarcter is deeper, she has more emotions, and an actual past! I personally think she should have ended up with Victor. I don't hate Victoria, but I feel that Emily is better suited for Victor.

I say Victoria. Mostly because it was true love. He got all nervous and stumbly around her. Just because someone is deeper doesn;t mean he should choose her.

Ohmigosh, I couldn't have said it better myself. Like, not every jock dates a cheerleader. Not all mathletes are best buds and not all highschool sweethearts get hitched.
