The point of this advertising contest is to place our banner in your sig, and then get people to visit this thread!

✖Putting our banner in your sig gives you 1 point, and for every day you come back and post here with the banner, you'll gain 1 point!
✖ If someone posts that you referred them, you'll gain 2 points! See the codes below to enter.

PRIZES:

1st place (the most points) wins a CUSTOM-EDITED Daruma by [ vance ].

(See this for samples of his edits. No cosplays/fully clothed Daruma at this time, sorry.)

2nd place (the 2nd most points) wins a SEMI-CUSTOM Daruma by Leporidaie.

(You pick the colors!)

A third prize (TBA) will be raffled off amongst all remaining participants.
Your points = your # of tickets, so even if you have few points you could still win!

Cons has learned her lesson from not posting rules.
I am posting this like 3/4s into the event because there was some controversy about what is and what isn't allowed in this event. I will post what you shouldn't do for this contest. If you were doing any of these things, I ask that you stop now. It's my fault for not posting rules, so no one will hate you or anything if you did any of this. Just keep in mind for next time, okay?

Things you shouldn't do:
✖ create threads specifically for getting referrals.
✖ "bribe" people in the form of creating art or giving gold or items, or some other incentive.
✖ blatantly ask for referrals in places where you DON'T KNOW ANY OF THE PEOPLE (ie going into a random thread and telling people "POST THIS CODE HERE blahblah it'll help me a lot!" )
It's fine to ask for help in threads you frequent with people you know. It's also fine for your friends to ask THEIR friends, but please keep in mind they should follow the same rules.
✖ mass-PM or spam people with requests for them to post a referral. We are not hard-sellers here. (;
✖ ask people from outside-of-Gaia to log into their age-old accounts to refer you. This is much the same as using mules.
✖ use mules to get more referrals, or use mules to do any of the above things.
