Those people are annoying... I had a girl in my french class ( we were talking about sports people play and saying them in French. My one friend asked how to say Marching Band) Anyway she said "I don't see how band is a sport. All you do is walk around and play an intrument." All the band kids in my french class started yelling at her.. twas funny
mmmmm pwned in a DIFFERENT LANGUAGE! Now that's sweet.
My friends keeps trying to convince me that it's not a sport. I asked what would make it a sport? and he said: rules/referees, teamwork, physical training
Rules: our rules are quit ea bit harder and we have, what?, 7 judges running around watching your every movement. (I couldn't think of any rules at the time. He shoved all my rules under the title of 'form' ROLL STEPPING IS NOT SOMETHING THAT YOU USE TO MAKE IT PRETTIER IT'S ESSENTIAL AND YOU WILL LOSE A POINT IF YOU DON'T... dumbutt
stare help me think of more rules? the only one I can think of is the time limit
confused )
Teamwork: try to fix something without talking OR handmovements. Football players go out there and wing it every time. Ask them to tell you exactly what happens during the whole performance? how long does their game take? they don't know much about their own performance. OUR team needs EVERY player and no one is benched, meaning that everyone must be at the same level. those that are sub par get extra attention and pulled forcibly up to the proper level. we can't just put our trust in one 'star player' we ALL need to be the star players
pirate physical training: we DO run. we DO work. We do NOT just walk around. We DO lift weights to make sure we can keep perfect angles. We are NOT overweight and 'lazy'
talk2hand I beat him into saying it was indeed a physical activity but refuses to call it a sport
