Overrated, much? It was actually my favorite series until it was completely ruined by the movie. I discovered Twilight while in the checkout aisle at Wal-Mart more than two summers ago. I remember the day exactly. I'd just gone school shopping. I was starting high school and I was so excited. I got my first Panic! at the Disco T-shirt.
Well, I'm getting wayyyy off track. In the movie, Bella is not clumsy enough and Edward is not hot. He's horrible.

It's not overrated. It's just complete s**t.
But then again, I'm not a 13 year old girl, so what do I know about it.
Also, lol @ Panic at the Disco.

It's not in my favorite list of movies but I thought it was a good movie. I don't like though how some people just hate the movie just because it's so popular right now. Some people only like it for that reason too, though. All I know is that from seeing it I don't wanna see another PG-13 movie at the theater. Too much screaming over someone who's only midly attractive. And in one part, he mentioned "cat," reerring to p***y, and you know half those little kids laughing thought he actually meant cat. It wasn't even funny enough to lol. So I'm done with PG-13. xD

I really liked the first book, except for the fact that the only action it had was really in the last 100 pages of a 600-page book. In the other books, you could tell the author was trying to please all the fans that were obsessed and writing their own renditions of Twilight and such. I didn't really like those all that much.
The obsessed fans creep me out. Really. Some of them created "Cullenism," where they believe the Cullens are real. Obsessive much? I may have liked the book, but I'm not going to go off and believe the characters are real...especially when they "sparkle."

Tohma read all the books and has seen the movie- she said that if you haven't read the 2nd book in the series, you miss some references that are made from that book. Also- there is a big gap, vampire meets girl and all of a sudden they are a couple? Hmm. She said if you haven't read the books, it might be a little confusing or you won't get some of the humor, but all in all it's a good movie.

I'm a fan of the second book. >_<
But, yeah, I didn't like the movie much just because it didn't seem to flow really well. It's like the actors didn't even try to become the Twilight characters.
And I really didn't like Edward, character-wise. How the heck do you just fall in love and just stick with it, just like that, and have a happy ending? It wasn't realistic. And the actor at least tried, nothing against Rob, since Cedric was pretty well-played in HP. I think.
Jacob FTW. At least he was mildly real. The Cullens, no, I won't go looking for them. There might be people just like them, but I'm not going to go wandering around looking for sparkley people.
... One of my friends did me a favor <3 http://www.slashfilm.com/2008/12/05/how-twilight-is-destroying-america-and-harming-our-nations-youth/

Yeah, the fourth book was pretty pathetic. The whole fight thing at the end pisses me off. That's... I don't know.

Apparently not. >.>

Well, what do you know!
I'm reading 'Twilight' now. . . not sure how I feel about it. . . And in case you're curious, I got it earlier today, and I'm like already a third thru the book. . .
eh. That's all I can say.
