As all you old folk know, and as all you new folk are about to find out, every year I like to hold a reunion party in the SG. The past two years they have been held in September, but this year because of the spirit month event I was all lazied out and since I couldnt even finish that event I figured I had no chance at doing the reunion.
For those of you who dont know what a reunion party is, basically we invite every single person to ever play the sniper game to come hang out in a guild for a weekend. We always plan contests and games, but usually people just make their own fun. Its really great to see old SG'ers again. Hundreds of people have come and gone over the years, and alot of them are dearly ( xd ) missed. It's also great because of a lot of people will come hang out in the guild for a month or so, and make it a lot more lively.
This year I think we should have a Christmas/Reunion party together. I want to send out invites asap and invite people to sign up now for the gift exchange, if thats ok with Hirun, and then have the party during the gift exchange dates. Exchanging gifts will add lots of fun to the party smile
I also think we should vote on SG awards during the party, but I know Toastie is working on a voting system and I'm not sure if it will be done in time. If we can vote on it during the party, then we can announce the results at the anniversary party, and that will be incentive for people to stick around for a month biggrin
Another difference from future years - I would love to hold the party in a thread instead of a guild this year. If the Christmas event is going on then, which it should be, it can be held there.
If you have any suggestions or comments or questions that would be awesome smile If there are any things you remember from the past reunions that you liked/disliked let me know. Also, I still want to do contests even though the party will be in a thread, so if you have an idea tell me!
Soon I'll need help with invites, pming them out and figuring out who changed their name to what, etc. If you want to help with that, that would be great.

We should have trivia from the storyline. Like: who did what in game xxx.
To insure there is no cheating you could lock the Archives and to insure it's fair for everyone you could open the Archives for an hour or a day before the Trivia starts.

Thread game, journal voting. oldschool. OOO that would be fun! Except that whoever wins the current GM elections will have to be ok with it. Would we only be playing those 4 days in the thread, or the whole game in the thread? I dont know why I'm asking you because you arent gm but whatevs XD
And I dont want a GM Mule to take over the thread, because I like to look like im in charge and no one else is >.> I'm seriously lacking power since Sib became captain, it's very tragic. But I guess I can sacrifice a few posts to the GM mule. Not the first post though mad
Tootsie - Trivia is good! I want to give away goldfish as prizes biggrin It makes no sense, but WHATEVER. It randomly popped into my head, therefore it MUST be magical.

Hopefully I can this week, Holidays and all, are just so random for my life.

I will be trying to see how long I can go without sleeping... I'll be trying to go the full 2 weeks my parents are on vaca... SOOOO this reunion will fall perfectly between the lines of sanity and bat s**t mess. razz

Well you should start making a list right away. Haha me either xd If its during the Christmas event though, maybe I'll be able to. And I started the list last night - I only got through game 6 and there are already 321 people to invite.
Monj - its just a party where everyone to ever play the game is invited.
Buzz - WOW that's special. You're going to be so horrible to hang out with xd

It's been like 5 or 6 years for me... so it will be some kind of fun for me!! blaugh blaugh blaugh
TOOTSIE-- If I call up THOSE people they'll like send some person in my house to like record that junk... so I'd have to have some random person following me around like all the time... and then I'd feel really bad for them and have to invite them to do everything I'm doing... and it would just be REALLY creepy when I just wanna shower...
