Area Dunno yet
Recca paced the corridors of the Institute, the university her human, Senri, attended. There was nothing to do. Most other Nian here were in the classes, showing they knew as much, or more than, their keepers. Reccabeth didn't know as much as her keeper, she didn't much care for Parapsychology and the like. She loved art, but they've long kicked her out of the art building when she'd accidentally knocked over a few bowls of paint. The result had been catastrophic to them, but Reccabeth thought it had potential. Either way, it wasn't her call.
So here she was, bored out of her mind, wearing a hole in the floor, seriously, she could feel it! It was a beautiful day outside, too good to waste. Well, Senri could walk by himself, no need for her to be there. So Recca up and dashed off into the gardens, deliberatly making a mess of the ugly pink flowers that smelled like dirty human.

Humming to herself Ilisia walked through the gardens outside the Institute. Ariana was off studying away. Normally Ilisia would accompany her but today she just didn't feel like it. So here she was enjoying the beautiful day.

Reccabeth wandered about aimlessly for a while until she hapened on a new Nian. She thought about rushing over to either say hello or pounce on the Nian, but a second look ruled out the later thought. The Nian had a line of deadly spikes trailing along its back, hell for those who tried to surprise attack her, they'd get a surprise of a lifetime, which wouldn't last much longer. Instead, Recca trotted over and introduced herself. "Hallo, I'm Reccabeth. My human is over in class, but I'm not interested in such things. You too love?" She gave a hopefully warm smile.

Looking at the Nian Ilisia smiled. She sure seemed nice! "Hi Reccabeth my names Ilisia! My humans in class I usually go just so that I can learn what she learns and so I can help her when she doesn't understand things." Her eyes suddenly getting bigger she bursted with happiness. "Hey! Do you want to play?!"

Play? Recca didn't often play. She fooled around and annoyed the heck out of people, but play... Last time she played must've been back when she was a fledgling. So long... Why? she wondered. She felt nostalgic for the good old days. With no warning, she lunged at the other nian. "Rrrrr!"

Smiling she heard the growl and got excited. Playing! Feeling Reccabeth land on her side Ilisia rolled over and nipped at the female on top of her. Giggling she tackled her. "I shall beat you! Rawr!"

Reccabeth immediatly perked up at the sound of human footsteps. She threw off her oponent off and turned to see who it was, hoping that her human had finally gotten some sense into him and decided to skip that dull classroom. Her face fell as she saw it wasn't Senri. It was a group of females, dull creatures, especially the human ones.
Recca made a face and hissed at them, not caring who they were. Though she hoped it might be a high ranking personel of the Institute, one that could get her mindless human kicked out of the place. Then they could go on adventures, see the world. She'd introduce him to the many nian courts and maybe he'd stay to learn their history instead. Become an alchemist. Something interesting...

Being thrown off Ilisia merely shook herself and prepared to launch at the female again when she spotted the humans. Hearing Reccabeth hiss at them Ilisia look at her with a rather amused look. Then trotted to the humans happily looking up at them searching for her human. After not seeing her Ilisia gave up and just looked at the rest with a quizical glance.

Reccabeth immediatly charged at the girls, which immediatly squealed as the silly creatures they are, scattering to different parts of the Institute. "Reccabeth!", she heard someone called. It sounded like her human! She turned giddily, yay! It was him. Scary mad, but there.
"Senri", she purred. "What's wrong with you!?" he screamed. "I-I just don't know what to do with you. You cause nothing but trouble." He thought back to when before Recca could remember. The day her ether whisp was delivered. He was but a boy, a lonely boy, with no friends or family. When he first saw the whisp, he didn't know what it was. But when he discovered its purpose he thought his lonely days were over. He babied the creature and took her everywhere. Always putting her before anything else in his life. That was his mistake. Now she thought she owned the world.
"I made a mistake with you", he voiced. It crushed something deep inside the nian, something important. It was alive and strong, but it suddenly became cold and dead. What it was, none would ever know. "W-w..." she never finished the sentence. Senri turned and marched away. Reccabeth was left behind, feeling empty.

Gazing at the boy and hearing all that transpired made Ilisia so confused. All she knew was that her new friend was now upset. She could read it in her posture and the look on her face. Walking up to her Ilisia rubbed against her trying to cheer her up. "Hey Reccabeth! Don't look so glum. He didn't mean it he was just speaking in anger thats all."

Reccabeth hissed at the nian attempting to comfort her, but immediatly hushed up. It did no good, and it no longer made her feel better. Reccabeth let Ilisia continue a little longer until the weight seemed to lift. Now all that was left was a hole, but there was really nothing to be done about that. She stood, shook out her coat, and trod off.
For the first time in her life she felt lonesome. She paused to look over her shoulder, checking to see if the nian Ilisia was following. Companionship would be welcomed now. "Ei..." She didn't really know what to say, so she shut up. How peculiar, these feelings. Hesitation. I must look like a girl right now. A human girl...

Seeing her friend leave made Ilisia feel sad but when she noticed that Recca looked over her shoulder she smiled and ran next to her. Not at all good with these things she wanted to say something to make her feel better but couldn't think of anything. "Ummm.........hey....do you umm want to meet my human?"

Recca didn't really feel like meeting any humans. But she had no particular place to go, certainly not home. Well, it'd be better than following her Senri. "Why not?" Reccabeth answered. She was surprised at how indifferent she sounded. She felt bad, but it didn't reflect in her voice at all. It scared her a bit, but then she realised this could be used for her benifit. "Sounds nice, let's go then." Recca put a little bounce in her stride as she made to follow this new friend of hers.
She'd never had a "friend" before. This could be interesting.

Frosting watched the nians watched from afar. She wasn't too friendly when it came to strangers. She was very curious of and wondered what everyone was up to silently. Slowly growing tired of watching, Frosting shift closing to eavesdrop the nians' conversation without being noticed.

"Ok! Follow me!" Giggling Ilisia did a strange little dance and took off in a type of skipping pattern. Knowing exactly what class Ariana was in Ilisia took off in that direction finally making it to the doors she stopped suddenly. "I smell something good........"
