Okay, seems like ths guild is in a coma, and in memory of Spency and BB, I'd actually like to do my job as a crew member and try to fix this.
SO WHAT'S UP PEOPLE, are the threads just not spontaneous enough? Did they lose their je-ne-sais-quoi? WOuld you like more members? More activity from the staff? Tell meh what you waaaaant!

C08a1t maybe it's because school/work has consumed everyone's lives O_o There was still activity last year when everyone had work and school, so I'm not sure that's it x.o;

I haven't posted for quite a while for the simple fact that no one has posted in any of the threads that I'm interested in. sweatdrop I think perhaps we could use some new threads? new topics of discussion..because they're just the same ongoing threads that we've always had for the most part.

WOuld it be better to stickie some main threads and then make the forum more like the GD?
As in everyone just popping in with random threads.
It sounds a little stupid, but it usually keeps conversation fresh 3nodding

It might not necessarily be a problem with the guild which is causing people to refrain from posting. In my guild there are not many people who post. Plenty of people join, make a couple of posts, and then don't come back...I send reminders out to people who don't post often and they come back and make a few posts as if they've forgotten the guild exists, and then disappear again. I just think people forget about the guilds because Gaia is too focused on the games and everything else...

The little girl says - People simply don't pay enough attention to the guild any more. Either they are simply not on Gaia, or they are doing other things on Gaia and completely forget about the guild. There is no constant reminder than that "Hey! You are in a wonderful guild.. that is DYING! GO poke it." Hell, I barely remember to get on Gaia any more, let alone check up on all of my guilds and subscribed threads. Its probably the same for everyone else.
I also agree with Shadow that there isn't enough new threads. That all the threads are just old stuff that we've been posting in for years. There isn't anything new or fresh and people tend not to respond in general any more.
Oh blah.. I'm done. I need to get ready for an event.

I'm sorry to say this but I have to agree with the last two posts. Gaia doesn't really throw the guilds into the spot light, they just assume people will remember them and then distract those people from the guilds with shiny new games. xp
Also the busy factor I know plays a large roll and it has been for a long time now. I know I haven't been active mostly due to a very busy schedule, but also, unfortunately, the lack of drive to even get on Gaia. More times then not I'll just check my e-mail and then get off the computer. I know this is not the case for everyone and I know I'm starting to ramble about my own reasons for not being active. However, I believe that if we give this guild something new, something to spice it up, and something that grabs people's attention to the point that they can't wait to get back on, then we can really get this guild going again. The only problem is figuring out what that magic combination is to grab people's attention and keep them coming back for more. If we could turn our guild into a cigarette we would have something going, but that might be a little complicated. sweatdrop xd xp

People of today lack patience. In the era of internet and cellphones, we demand immediate gratification. Basically, someone posts and no one responds. Instead of waiting or checking back later, he decides instead to just leave forever. At least, that's my theory. It's a vicious cycle. Very difficult to break. It spirals downward, deeper and deeper until eventually, no one posts at all.
