Now, I know that there are many of you that are fans of the saga of books known as, "Twilight". In fact, I first heard about it from here. Well, today I got a copy of Twilight to see what all the hubbub is all about. I will read Twilight a chapter at a time, and then post my opinion on what is happening in that chapter.

Book 1 = To obsessive even for me.
Book 2 = Win
Book 3 = I'm on chapter 5
Book 4 = Heard it was bad

All I really know about the series is SPARKLY VAMPIRES and that it spends an obscene amount of time talking about how amazing Edward looks, so that kinda keeps me from reading it.

Twilight has begun to really piss me off. I read it way before it gained any of it's fame and now everyone is jumping on the goddamn train so I jumped off. I hope it wrecks.
((Sorry for others who like the Twilight series, this applies specifically to my school.))

I only read it because it takes place in my state, my boring, out of the way state that people are now flying out to so that they can see where twilight takes place. It's actually a pretty good series, but over commercialized.

The writing sucks.
The characters suck.
The narrator character is a blonde.
The narrator character's sparkly crush is technically a ***** and he stalks her.
It's annoying.
if you end up liking it I am so never talking to you. I won't say again because I haven't before but xD

I am going to try reading it so I know what it's like. A friend of mine has the book and is willing to let me read the first one as soon as she's finished.
It's kind of nice having an actual popular book being set in Washington state. It's very rare.

VLAD REMEMBER WHEN YOU WERE JEFF? I was trying to think of your old name last night and it took me like 4 hours to remember. And to think - back in the day I thought I would never get used to calling you Vlad heart
ANYWAYS. This thread WAS making me not want to read twilight. But then I realized your hate for it is kind of like the HSM hate, and Hannah Montana hate, and waaay back in the day the Nsync hate, and yet I was/am completely in love/obsessed with those things even though so many people hate them, and so therefore why would I hate twilight just because lots of other people do?
Besides I read 4 books from The Clique before I could read no more. If I could read THAT I'm pretty sure I can read anything for teens xd
And I really really like reading about hott guys ;D So if half the book is just describing Edward that's fine by me.

Half the books I read and obsess over are really bad, but really entertaining <3
I know just because I liked those things doesnt mean I'll like Twilight, I'm just saying I shouldnt not read it just because lots of people dont like it, because if I always did that alot of the things I love would not have been in my life : )
