I'm well south of Sylmar, but my uncle in Yorba Linda/Anaheim Hills was evacuated and my grandparents in Fullerton are getting ready in case they need to leave.

Of course. I find it rather harsh, but in times when I don't have any and the anxiety is getting to be too much, I've found it reasonably effective. How much of this is psychosomatic, though, I'm not completely sure. But I'll try to remember to touch base with a couple folks tomorrow who're likely to have some wisdom. ^_~
