So since I have a lack of things to do and photoshop is getting a little dusty here.. I was thinking about making some signatures for everyone if ya'll are interested.. I'd like to brainstorm a bit and find out what everyone thinks would look great and be catchy and hell.. for the rest of you who are into graphic design maybe we can collaborate a little and pass around some images like a bag of oreos during a slumber party and talk about how much we hate men..or..something. Any thoughts???

Oooh... So you're offering me (us) free art? The only siggie I've got is a beautiful one that Lyssa made me... Temporarily out of service while I give Gaia the finger... But soon to be back, because giving Gaia the finger just makes the admins laugh. My siggie is in one of Lyssa's galleries, here...
Damn. Anyway, done with random babbling. Sorry. I'm trying to type and watch Star Trek (TNG) at the same time. Doesn't work. wink But I did get to hear Data recite some poetry about his cat that made me giggle...
Anyway, Brian, I would LOVE a siggie... I guess I could have just said that and left it at that. wink

Ok, so I'll have to get to messin around with some ideas.. first off.. what sorta size do I need to make these damn things? Since I've never done em before that's where I need to start.

Brian, you've GOT to talk to Lyssa about the siggie thing. She's the guru when it comes to that kind of graphic art design. I've never done anything like it, either, so I'm useless. I'd be more then happy to support the Guild in my new siggie, though... That's another thought. You could make all of us a matching Guild tag thingie... Hey... Wait... Was that and idea? Well, half of one, anyway.

-sidesteps around the Star Trek- Yeah I think tomorrow I'll get to work on a few ideas for it, since I'm off and I should have some alcoholic beverages.. hmm.. It couldn't hurt. Hopefully I can catch Lyssa.. I've noticed that I always get your comments whilst I'm at work so our schedules are a bit conflicting..you day people geesh. I would like all of our sigs to match, but I'm also thinking of adding a few unique things to it.. one idea would be to have our avi's on there...but since yours change more than I wear, let alone change, underwear then..that may not work. But we can do something nifty with a little photoshop and elbow grizzle.

Man, I'm a GIRL. My avie is a GIRL. We change our clothes. It's just one of those things we do. And for me, my avie is like a virtual paper doll. I get to dress her up in all kinds of nifty things I'd never get to wear in real life... So...
And it's funny to me you said that, because I now only change my avie a couple of times a month... I USED to have to change her every single day, so I just had to laugh over this. biggrin
Yeah, day people... I have an inherrent distrust of day people... WAIT. DID YOU JUST ACCUSE ME OF BEING A DAY PERSON?? Bad Brian! Bad!!

haha yes I did! Anyone who has some sort of normal schedule unlike mine I considered a day people.. I don't get out in the sun too often..and this time of year is the best.. sun's down when I go to work, and it has yet to rise when I get off work. I love it.

I'm having one of my wittle off days mentally. are you offering cookies and milk with the slumber party???? Oh wait, no that's not it.... what was it... Oh now I remember, are you offering guild siggys or personal siggys?
We're having a lot of r/l stuff going on. (Moving just after Christmas if not before, among other things.) But I'll try to add some stuff.
Considering I just did a halfway nice profile, I'm at a loss on siggys. Never even considered it...

Guild siggy's, I haven't started yet, been a hectic week. I'll be so glad when this year ends. Seriously. Your little sig that you ladies got going on there.. what's the image size of that? I think I want to do something around the same size so may as well start there eh?

I opened the image in Photoshop... Looks like it's
300 X 151
The sig that Lyssa made for me is more like a banner and it looks really awesome... It's more like
500 X 100
I like these dimensions a bit better because the sig looks less boxy... But that's just a matter of personal taste more then anything. There's certainly nothing wrong with the other and it might work better for whatever you've got in mind... biggrin

Sorry about the zOMG thing Brian, I tried to say hi and invite you to help kill Kat's doll in the Zen Gardens, but the window locked up from the amount of users crowding the damned chest.
There's an easier way to find an image's size. Right click and select Properties within Explorer. It'll display the image's attributes, like so:
I'll try to whip something up, but my mood's been less than stellar the past few days, plus I'm exhausted and trying to kill that mother*beep*ing god*beep**beep*son of a *beep beep beeeeeepppppp* doll....
I can't progress through the damned game until I do.

No problem. I wasn't logged into zomg anyway, besides I'm still fighting mushroom cannons and gaynomes. I've pretty much just been playing when I'm completely bored cause frankly..not into it much at all.
I'm still playing around and trying to get some other inspiration and ideas for the sigs, those two that I posted are just a first jab at it. Any thoughts?
