Well, my family finally subscribes to Sci-Fi and BBC America (I take more pleasure from the latter). Mom saw this late morning/early afternoon that there's a "new season" coming on BBCA. Are they talking about Season/Series 4? I thought it was waaaaaay too early to be talking about the specials or anything like that.

Yeah, the lineup is strange but it's BBC --> SciFi --> BBCA --> PBS, UNC, etc
So yeah, they're talking about an 'all new season 4' smile I might watch it just from withdrawal, plus I can rant about how much they decide to cut out of it. confused

Ah, ok. Thanks, guys! I'm so not used to this. Maybe I'll watch it (if I'm at home when it's on) because of withdrawal as well. Nov. 8, here we come!

BBCAmerica is a bit slow I've noticed. I see those advertisments whenever I watch Primeval [Awesome show xD It's like the Doctor Who for me when it's DW's off season] SciFi already beat BBCAmerica to season 4 by like a year...

Mostly Doctor Who, Robin Hood, and How Clean is Your House.
I sometimes watch The Graham Show. It depends who the guest is.

Season Four is "new" if you haven't seen it . . . My sister came up for Thanksgiving, stayed at my place, and actually watched Doctor Who! For those of you who don't know her, this is like hell freezing over! She always hated it back in the day, and now, she was at the dinner table asking me, "So, Doctor Who--what's his deal? I mean, what is he, even?" Yep. Total newb. Gave her the Time War in a teeny-tiny nutshell, then we watched "Fires of Pompeii" (which pretty much re-explained everything). She also saw "Planet of the Ood", but I can't tell you what she thought about that 'cause it's too rude for Gaia rofl

rofl Niiice.
Reminded me of having my mom sit down with me and watch an episode of Blackadder, or the 'Father's Day' episode of DW.... she's never liked British humor and she can't stand sci-fi (forget trying to understand accents xd ) ... so it's completely weird, especially when she asks questions about it (which shows she's getting interested despite herself) razz

rofl moments from watching DW on BBC America last night: 1. Preview clips of all the shows they'll be running for Christmas contained a clip from a comedy with the following line: Woman: "Grandma's got herself a toy-boy!" followed by a clip of, yep, you guessed it, DT as the Doctor. Toy Boy indeed! heart 2. Sontarans are blown to bits. My five-year old son involuntarily exclaims "Dammit!" (he is immediately sent to bed without my telling him how funny that was). mrgreen
