I HATE unleashed so here's hoping they drop out like Korpiklaani did last year.
After the stunning success of Paganfest this year , with bands such as Eluveitie and Korpiklaani , we have some really good news for all viking and pagan metal fans out there ! The longships are coming ! It is time to grab your helmets and swords again ! Pagans and Vikings unite once more ! After having successfully conquered Europe another PAGANFEST is planned for next year ! Next year the Pagans and Vikings will be led by Unleashed , who just released their new album Hammer Batallion Unleashed will be one of the headliners leading all you faithfull followers into Valhalla !!! More news and names will follow !
^Released June 18, 2008
It's coming back. Yay.

Death metal their later material is about vikings and honor and mostly anti-Christian themes and Christ bashing. Wow, they are so cool. rolleyes
I realy see no point in them headlining, they aren't folk or viking metal. I think the headlining spots should be reserved for folk/viking/pagan metal bands. Not some barely recognizable death metal band with a few references to vikings because that's the kvlt thing to do now.

Oh, thats why I haven't heard of them...I hope they add at least one decent band to the list. But yeah, thats like the concert I'm going to on Saturday, its called "twilight of the thunder god tour" with Amon Amarth, Ensiferum, Belphegor and The Absence. So pretty much Death Metal featuring a Viking Metal band! the concert I'm going to on friday sounds worse then that one though...

They were releasing legit death metal, then started hiding behind the viking themes.

They've no right to invoke the thunder god's name with a lineup like that. rolleyes
