Alihi - C Retired
Alihi: Hey! You're Soren, right...? I wanted to talk to you.
Soren: ...Alihi, right? What is it? I'm a bit busy at the moment, so if you could please get to the point?
Alihi: Yeah, I'm Alihi. I just wanted to get to know the other tacticians around here, compare ideas, that sort of thing...
Soren: Well, if you don't have anything specific in mind...it can wait until a later date. Please excuse me.
Alihi: Alright... Until later, Soren.
B-
Alihi: Hey, Soren! Uhm... nice work back there.
Soren: Hmm? Work...? Oh. That. It was nothing special. No one was doing anything helpful, and so I stepped in.
Alihi: I see... Can we actually talk this time? Last time, you were... "busy".
Soren: I...suppose so. What did you want to talk about, then?
Alihi: Well, before I wanted to talk about tactics, but now, I also want to know more about you... Hm. Well, I guess tactics for now.
Soren: In what sense? There are plenty of tactical procedures regarding many different fields and situations. Did you have anything specific in mind?
Alihi: Actually, yeah. Back in my day, I had to deal with the "Fog of War" a lot, but I wasn't that good with dealing with those situations. Sure, we survived, but I always felt so paranoid... What did you do in those situations?
Soren: It's never been a complicated matter...It's rather unnerving, not knowing what enemies may be just out of sight. It's always good to bring someone with good eyesight, a thief for instance, and be sure he has a torch, or some sort of light source. First of all, thieves are usually very observant, and they can often see much farther than other warriors in battle. Add to that a torch, and they will be able to warn allies to enemies much farther away than the others would see on their own. It's always good to keep under cover, yourself. Stick to the trees, or any small bluffs you can reach. Keep archers and long range weapons handy. Always be sure you have plenty of healing items and weapons in good working condition. It's nice to have a healer, but harder to protect them. If you move forward, stay in a group. I only suggest this if you are in a great hurry. If there is no rush, stay put. It is imperative that you stay on your toes. As the tactician, those in any fighting unit will look to you before they move. In this case, you must always have a level head. Stay calm. Never panic. Take your time. If you make too hasty a decision, it could cost you the life of an ally, and thus, deplete your fighting force. Use all resources at hand, and if at all possible, stay in one place and wait for the enemy to come to you. Keep your stronger warriors along the outer layers of your group, be sure there is no opening for archers to hit weaker units. Keep less durable, long range fighters, such as archers, to the back of the warriors with higher stamina and defense. Healers and magic users should be kept to the center. In this case, you waste some time waiting, but the enemy will often rush blindly at you, and you will weaken their numbers without taking much of a hit yourself. These tactics do not apply solely to situations in which you are faced with the 'Fog of War', but it is especially helpful in these instances. ...I'm sorry if that was a bit much, but you did ask. Was I at all helpful?
Alihi: Wow... uhm. That was more than I expected to hear. But it does help! Thank you...
Soren: You are...quite welcome. We are allies, after all. ...I find it rather daunting that you did not already know such simple strategies, however. You must be a poor tactician, as far as I am concerned.
Alihi: W-w-what?! I-I am not a poor tactician! I was just comparing strategies, that's all! I dealt with the "Fog of War" in a similar way, but I'm always willing to adapt. That's why I asked!!
Soren: Such simple questions, and you seem so shocked at a thorough answer. I am not one for small talk, Alihi. If this conversation serves no useful purpose, then I see no need to continue. Will that be all?
Alihi: Argh... Fine. That'll be all. But I'm not done with talking to you yet. Oh, no... You think I'm a poor tactician. And I must change that. Now... good day.
Soren: Good day.
Alihi: Hey, Soren! Uhm... nice work back there.

Janaff - C
Janaff: "Oof! ...Hey, kid, mind watching where you're going? It's dangerous to stumble around like a fledgling with its eyes still shut, you know!"
Soren: "Please excuse me. I should be more caref-- ... Aren't you the Hawk King's "Eyes"? Shouldn't you be able to avoid a collision no matter what the people around you are doing? If your eyesight is so flawless, you should have seen me coming and moved aside. ...Shouldn't you be the one apologizing to me?"
Janaff: Oh? And aren't you- wait, Soren?!... I see you remembered who I am, but- heh! If you think I have eyes on the back of my head, you're mistaken.
Soren: You pride yourself on your eyesight, Janaff. I should think all of your talk would amount to something. Or do you have an excuse for walking right into me? Hn...Nevermind. I'm busy, anyway. Good b-- ...Is that..."A History of a Great Flood"? ...You are reading that? I thought no one touched such books these days. And you are a warrior. ...Did the King order you to read it?
Janaff: Wai- Oops! I've been found out. I'm actually pretty embarrassed you were able to sneak up on me like that... but yeah, I was reading. Usually, I'd be able to see you coming up behind me from miles away. But don't get me wrong- I'm doing this of my own will. I'll have you know that the Hawk King's right hand has a responsibility to make themselves worthy of the station.
Soren: You chose to read that book on your own? That's a bit... In any case, I'm sorry to have been in the way. Still, one should not walk and read if they are no good at it. ...Hn.
[Exit:Soren]
Janaff: Hey! What was that look for? What's so funny? ...!! Wait! Soren! Don't tell Tibarn- don't tell anyone that I bumped into you, okay?! Please?
Janaff: "Oof! ...Hey, kid, mind watching where you're going? It's dangerous to stumble around like a fledgling with its eyes still shut, you know!"

Sue - A
C-
Sue: Well, the pairings I like are... *lists*
Soren: I see.. you and I have a lot of... different views.
Sue: But, that's good, isn't it? The world would be boring if we were all the same!
Soren: ...
Sue: I want to hear your favorite pairings too! I always enjoy hearing other people's opinions, you know.
Soren: Is that so? Well... what I like might surprise you.
Sue: Oh please, nothing surprises me now that I've discovered the "wonderful world of Photobucket."
Soren: Okay, maybe you've seen more than I thought...
Sue: Yeah, something like that. I can't remember a time before my mind was corrupted!
Soren: Me either.
B-
Sue: Soren!
Soren: Hm?
Sue: How are you liking the guild, anyway?
Soren: It's nice... I suppose.
Sue: Yeah, we both know a lot of exciting people, don't we? The one I admire of course is one of our crew...
Soren: Heath?
Sue: Oh yes! Heath! Day by day, he deals with n00bs, and he somehow manages to keep his sanity. It's a miracle, really.
Soren: I can completely understand his problems...
Sue: Yeah, nothing but sympathy for him. I really admire all the crew for doing what they do. Bringing us all together for the sake of being Fire Emblem fans.
Soren: ...
Sue: Oh, I'm being long winded again! Sorry!!!
Soren: Just... don't do it again.
A-
Sue: Soren.
Soren: Sue... it's you again.
Sue: Yes, Soren. I wanted to ask you something. I hope you don't get mad.
Soren: Mad... about what?
Sue: *smiles* You... really like Ike, don't you?
Soren: !!!
Sue: I thought as much! I know how you feel, admiring your commander, because my General Roy saved my life. Wait, what's with that red face? What kind of 'like' did you think I meant?
Soren: Not... like that of course! I really don't like Ike.. that way!
Sue: Well, of course I wasn't saying that! I meant... you like him the way I like Roy!
Soren: It depends on how you like Roy...
Sue: Well, I don't like Roy... that way...
Soren: ...
Sue: ...
Soren: You have nothing else to say, right?
Sue: No, that's not it!
Soren: Hm?
Sue: Soren... I didn't think that I'd be friends with you. I'm really glad to talk to you, really. It's great seeing things in a way besides my own. No matter what happens, let's stay this way, okay?
Soren: ...
Sue: And then... maybe if we're a bit closer, you can tell me about what's really going on between you and Ike.
Soren: What... do you mean? I told you... we're not...
Sue: I don't expect you to say it right in the open! Hm, these things take time to accept, not to mention admit to others.
Soren: You won't give up, will you?
Sue: I'm afraid not!
Soren: ... fine. I'll tell you...
Sue: Yes?
Soren: The pairing between me and Ike is... canon...
Sue: See, it's not so hard to say! You'll soon have the courage to tell him that too.
Soren: You think so?
Sue: I know so.
Soren: ...
Sue: Ah, I'm being long-winded again! We should get back to the guild! If Ike shows up tell him everything! *rides off on horse*
Soren: Wh-what? Sue!! Wait!
