1 month until Nano!
I remembered ahead of time this year biggrin
Anyone else participating? What are your plots/characters/whatever? Have you ever completed a nano before?
This will be my 3rd year. I dont think I've gotten past 500 words in either year I've done it XD Hopefully that will change this year.

A good amount of SGers have participated in it in the past 2 years, and its been tons of fun. So if you havent tried it you should def try it this year biggrin

I won last year, it was an AMAZING experience. <333 Can't wait for this year.. I've kinda been thinking of a plot for the last two months, but I really need to add to it and work stuff out and what not. XDDD;;
I'm also kinda thinking of writing more on last years Nano, because I didn't finish the story even though I won. o-o; I almost feel like it needs to boil in my head for awhile longer before I plow on with it, though. It might be a side thing to do with my Nano this year... who knows.
I WILL FINISH IT SOMEDAY. D8
BUTBUT I'M TOTALLY EXCITED.

EHAMGOD. My bday is Dec 1st. NANO IS A WRENNIE NYMMIE SANDWICH biggrin
I never had a plot going into Nano XD Probably why I never got past 500 words.
I want to do as many dares as I can this year. I never noticed the dare thread before, but I was looking through last years and it was fun. I think I'll just have random character do random s**t from the dare thread and TADA it'll be a novel!
I need to sign up smile I havent yet.

Unlike other years, I HAVE A PLOT.
Well, I have a character. I need to form her and then make another one. And then bounce them around til something plotty happens.
Anyway, most I've done is 16k words TOTAL. This year my goal is 25k words of uno novel, OR just to not scrap it after 10-15k.
All I know about my char. is that she's somewhere between 16-19...prolly 17 or 18. And she's too much like me but she definitely isn't, just one or two of the main points of her character are a lot like me...just I ******** them up a bit.
It's hard to explain my fresh new virgin character when she's still so underdeveloped. D:
I'll get back to you when I flesh things out.

I kinda wanna do like a murder mystery but those books are always so cheesy.... Maybe I could do fantasy but that's really overplayed... What about a crime fiction... Hmm....

I have always tried to do it right? but I get to like... what? 2k words? and then I'm DONE... SO! I'll say that I won't be doing it this year... just to see if I actually get over the 2K hump... GOING FOR 3K THIS YEAR!!
BUT!! NOPE!! I'm not doing it, NO WAY JOSE!

s**t, i might actually have to try this year.
never done it before because it was always "i'm lazy and undisciplined, so i won't be able to do it."
i'm still lazy and undisciplined, but whatever. at least it will get the creative juices flowing again. it'll be a nice break from all the science and math i've got going on. xD

I think I want mine to take place in a plaza. I love plazas, they are so fun to work in. I'll have a sex store and a pet store and um some other stores. And I'll have a seriously cracked out landlord. And then I'll just have the plaza do...stuff. Whatever dares there are in the dare thread will be what my characters do XD
