(I'll admit that I haven't been posting as much lately, either, though. Probably because of how much Bryke pissed me off with their stunt at NYCC.)

It was probably pretty easy to miss, but yeah, this is what pissed me off. I could go into a whole rant about it, but I'll spare you guys my finale/Bryke's cockteasery lecture. I could also point out that the only art in there that's worth s**t was done by Zutarians. (Seriously, that pretty Kataang picture towards the end with the pretty colors and the lovely shading was done by a friend of mine in Capstara as a gift for her little sister. Bryke didn't ask any of the original artists for permission to use their art in the show, and they all received pretty nasty shocks when they saw their pictures used to slander and poke fun at their ships.)
And yeah, I wasn't crushed by the finale because I knew what was going to happen. I do believe that Bryke pulled it off tactlessly and incompletely to say the least, but I wasn't really "crushed" by it. It was just very J.K. Rowling of them to come out with that slideshow at NYCC all, "OH HAHAHAHAHAHAA YOU GUYS SUCK."

They didn't get permission from the artists?
Really, if it was on Deviantart all t hey would need is permission from the admins of deviantart. Once you host your art on the site, it's basically public domain.

Nah, they just ganked a bunch of pictures and then crudely animated the mouths to go along with their douchey script.
A bunch of people were really pissed.
