I said that to my friend today because of what happened and marching practice last night.
So we go up to the field to march, turns out, we don't have to field. We go back in the room and for some reason the room was really really hot. Everybody was wearing multiple layers because we though that we were going to be outside. After about 10 minutes everyone started stripping. The guy next to me even took off his pants. He was wearing shorts under, but it was still funny.
Does that every happen to any of you?

well now that i graduated...no doesnt happen ... no longer in band T.T
but yes, when i was in the band it happened every friday night after home games. A parking lot full of strippers...along with some shouts of "_______ is going commando!"
it was one of the funnest times i think i will ever have and im going to miss it...

my ms doesn't strip either. we just don't, idk why.

Yeah, that happens. It's mostly just guys taking off their shirts when we get out to the field we practice on, but sometimes people change into appropriate marching clothes in the band room before the after school practice starts.
And then when the weather starts getting colder, we start marching, then when we take a water break everyone strips off their sweatshirts and marches the rest of the time in T-shirts, but not usually shorts.

Changing on the bus becomes an art when your in marching band xD
one time i accidentally mooned the rival band when i was changing n the bus<<

Well, what changing of clothes is done at our school is done in the instrument room (we have instrument lockers, so they're a good place to stash clothes too) or in the bathrooms. Or you'll get that one guy who changes out in the open. O.o
Changing on the bus... we wear clothes under out uniforms, so we just take the uniforms off, but the colorguard can't wear much aside from underwear under theirs. They have their own bus, though, so they don't have to worry about much.

back in band, everyone would just drop trow infront of everyone...even the band director. a bus ride back from camp these two guys both took there pants off cuz they were hot. good times...this one time a trombonest did a strip teese one night when we had to stay late for a miny concert

Hmm...in band camp I wore a shirt belonging to a girl on the colorguard, and when the BD left the field she yelled at me "I want my shirt back dammit!" So I gave it back to her. Took it off right in front of the band and threw it to her. Yet somehow no one noticed that anything had happened until I was scrambling to get the damn shirt back on. xD

it's mostly free for all in band but for some reason there is no stripping. something about school policy. no going to the bathroomt to change but we do it anyway.

My BD makes a point to tell us not to change in the band room, but after practices and stuff, all the guys just walk in and start tearing off their bibs.
This one guy I hate walks into the storage room (where we're all putting our instruments away-- the most populated room possible) and starts stripping down to his boxers and shirt. burning_eyes

once, after the high school cluster concert, we were watching the other bands preform and two boys were getting overheated so they unbuttoned their dress shirt. they were wearing t-shirts underneath but that didn't stop our band director from yelling "alec, cameron, this is not naked time!". all the other schools stared at us.

My band isn't allowed to go cammando but we strip in busses alot, basically everywhere in th band area to.
