The Forest Field
Thick trees sprout at random places throughout the field, some small while others seem to reach out and touch the ceiling of the stadium. As with ancient trees, some roots are seen being thrust above the ground which makes easy for a pokemon to trip if they do not watch where they are going. Spacing between the trunks vary, making passage difficult for those on the ground and in the air. The ground is littered with piles of pine needles, leaves, and sticks of all sizes; several tree trunks and rotting logs can be found scattered around as well.

Jen trotted into the stadium and took her spot in the trainer area before stealing a glance at the decided field.
"Hm....Forest, eh? This is gunna be interesting; I haven't been here in a while and this is your first stadium battle, my dear!" Unhooking the safari-colored pokeball from her belt, the seasoned trainer rolled it between her palms for a few seconds before enlarging and flinging the sphere towards one of the trees.
The pokeball hit the trunk and burst open in a flash of red light before bouncing back towards Jen, who caught it expert ease.
Aden, now free, eyed his new surroundings with a delighted grin before floating infront of the "forest". Oooooooooooo....it was just like back home! Expect...different...turning around, he blinked and flipped in the air to display confusion.
"Shuuuuuuu.....?" Was he suppose to do something?
Jen laughed; her pokemon was so silly. "It's a battle, Aden dear! We fight to win!"
Win? Oooooooooooo! He could do that! Bobbing in excitement, Aden gave a loud cackle of delight while waiting for his opponent to show up.

Saspra ran into the stadium with her hair in random clumps. She had woken up a few minutes ago and had be in such a rush to get out that she had forgotten to comb her hair.
The stadium was nice and lush with life. They were going to be battling in a forest arena it seemed. Shadow would like this. It was much like his old home.
Unhooking the ball from her belt she tossed it forward and watched it enlarge and let out a bright red flash. Within moments the ball was back in her hand and Shadow stood happily.
Shadow was pleased for once. His nut ball trainer picked a decent place for a battle. He ran around for a few seconds and focused his eyes on the opponent. He was a Shuppet. Brighter than normal, but not much of a surprise.
"Sorry I'm late." Saspra said in embarrassment rubbing her hair.

((Okay, fine. x3 Let's prep for battle!))
"Hey, no worries!" Jen laughed and grinned at her opponent as Aden drifted in and out of the trees while cackling in delight.
Pointing dramaticly at Saspra, Jen let her eagerness to fight get ahold of her. "You ready?! I don't plan on going easy on ya! Remember that!"
Aden, on the other hand, was a bit more patient then his trainer. Diving towards mid-field, the ghost pokemon exaimed his surrounding with red eyes.

"I know~" Saspra shouted back. "The battle wouldn't be half as fun if we went easy on eachother." She said with a grin.
Shadow was clearly pleased with his surroundings. He didn't mind how emptyheaded his trainer was. This battle should be enjoyed while it lasted.
"Shadow use Confuse Ray!" She commanded. That was usally her first move to start battles off.
Green eyes flicked and Shadow shot out a glowing white ball at Aden.

"AYE! I agree one hundred percent!" Saluting her opponent as the battle started, Jen cocked an eyebrow at the status move. "Confuse Ray? Huh....a ghosty move against a ghosty pokemon."
Aden simply cast a side glance at the glowing sphere as he continued to explore the battlefield. Meh, that wasn't anything special to him...this place was by far much more interesting!
"Alrighty Aden! Let's return the favor!" Grinning, Jen did a dramtic finger point towards Saspra's side of the field. "Use that move! And make it extra gooey!"
The command clicked in his mind and Aden let out a long, loud cackle before floating towards where the earlier attack had come from. Floating out through a tree, the Shuppet spied the Vulpix and bobbed in the air with excitement. Aden's cheeks puffed out and he swished the the attack around in his mouth before spitting the toxic, purple liquid at Shadow.

Shadow took a few hops away then turned around. The attack was quite easy to avoid considering he used it all the time. He turned back around to stare at the bobbing Ghost Pokemon.
Saspra nodded back towards Jen. Either use that move again or try and inflict damage... She sighed. Confuse Ray would wait. "Use Flamethrower Shadow!"
Shadow smiled revealing sharp, pointy teeth. That's the kind of attack he liked to use. He opened his mouth and shot out a ball of flames practically the size of Aden in his direction.

Aden squealed and flew around in circles franticly as the flame that latched itself to where his bum would be refused to go out; not to mention the burns he had recieved stung like no tomorrow!
Oh no! He's wasn't a happy ghost pokemon no more!
Jen did a facepalm and eyed her pokemon as the flame died out, leaving behind a faint wisp of smoke. Oh boy, lesse then....Ah! That move could work! "ADEN! Use Psychic!"
Shaking the get rid of the soot clinging to his body, the Shuppets' eyes began to glow a bright red; a similar aura surrounded several of the logs and rocks on the ground and they were soon lifted up into the air. With an evil grin, the ghost-type used mental energy to fling the object at Shadow.

Saspra almost fell laughing when Aden flew around in circles squealing. This was gold and she kind of wished she could record this. "Come on Shadow dodge it!" She called in encouragement.
It was too late. As Shadow ran forward he tripped on a rock that had been planted there. As he fell bits of debris started pelting him and he jumped away before too much damage could be done.
Saspra sighed. At least they got off easy. "Use Flamethrower again!" She called.
Shadow turned around and fired more fire torwards Aden hoping to hear that satisfying squeal again. His eyes narrowed and he smirked as the fire came out.
