Kashya held onto Kurios's hand, feeling awkward and strange in the late night masses which crowded the aisles of the shopping center. The pair were to be found in a giant grocery store, packed with an asortment of foods, dishes and everything the normal household needed from pet food to cleaning products with the occason 'designer' shampoo brand claiming to be 'right from the salon'. Kurios had one hand on the metal beast of a trolly, and Kashya to the side of him, watching as another child similar to herself, cried and begged over not being allowed a lolly. Kurios was trying hard not to look, but with her childish features as an easy excuse to blame her curiosity on, Kashya looked at the child without hidding her obvious judgment. She shook her head and turned her attention to Kurios, who was while trying to avoid eye contact with the disopediant child's parents and hidding his smug expression that his Kashya would never show some behavior, was picking out intsant pasta sides. Just add milk, butter and microwave until hot. Kashya was sure that wasn't how Julien did it.
With out making much progress in his decision making, kurios took the only other option, and dumped both packets into the trolly. Variety was a good thing.
Kashya was, while not overly joyed about this new discovery that the mall was a noisy place filled with too many people, she had come along simply to see what there was, and was taking things in as always. She raised a brow as the indesiscive Kurios threw the two pastas in, and looked at them with a small tilt to her head as she rested her hand under her chin thinking. Kurios of course, saw her small gestures and lookd sheepish in reponse. "It's late for me, so some of my decision can be effected by that, little miss early bird"
At this, Kashya lost her expression of ambivilence, and put on a gleeful smile. Kashya had woken at six pm tonight, an achivment in her own right, and better yet, she didn't feel tired at all. It wasn't the first time this week either, she had been waking more early as each day passd it seemd, and she wonderf how long it would be until she too could see the daylight.

"I believe if we had only left the house earlier we would not be shopping for groceries so late at night, but with accidents that occur there must always be some kind of trip to find the repair items. Don't you agree?"
The man who walked the front door seemed to be speaking to himself as he slowly made his way into the grocery store and towards the cleaning aisle. He was dressed strangely for the time of night that it was, wearing a long overcoat that draped down to his feet and a top hat that matched in color. From what one could see from the mouth of the coat was that he was wearing a suit underneath, a double breasted one that was ebony in color, and the shiny shoes he wore on his feet completed the attire.
If one were to look closer it would be clear he wasn't speaking to himself but rather an egg that he carried gingerly between both of his hands. The egg was naturally several times larger than any average egg could have ever been, and its black color was a dead give away that it wasn't even natural (not to mention the wings).
"I honestly did not expect Lune to try and get out in the manner that he did, I swear that child is fool of one surprise after another. Poor Sol is in tears. . ."
He continued to talk in a hushed voice as he walked here and there, his eyes scanning for something, and he gave a polite tip of his hat to Kurios and Kashya as he passed, unaware of this new meeting.

As Kurios was about to move onto the next aisle, Ironicly the real pasta aisle, a strangly dressed individual passed across his vision for just a moment between as he looked at the pasta, still rethinking the choice, and glancing back over at Kashya. The darkly dressed figure was gone as quick as it passd, leaving an unsure Kurios in his path and a small black headed child, curios about the small eeg thye man had been holding. Not that Kurios noticed. The top hat was too eye catching for him to pick up trivial things.
"...Was that, Riyo?" He asked bewilderd. Forgetting the pasta problem. If it was Riyo who had waved, then it would appear him to be very, very rude to simply wave and walk off. He would want to say hi at the very leats, see how they were doing sinc ethey last met. Had Aesop grown the same as Julien perhaps, but then again he hadn't seen the white headed boy. Just the top hat really, and Cindy wasn't the only person in the world who wore a top hat. just the only one he knew, so did that give him the right to assume everyone who wore a top hat was Cindy? Of course not, that was impossible logic, and it sounded silly even in his own mind. That didn't help him though. To say hello to a potention stranger, or please an aquaintenceby showing he remembered them. Oh the dilemna.
Kashya was much less indecisive. While she had seen the egg and knew that Aesop was a child and that he could not be in said egg, she wonderd if it were possible Cindy had more than just one. If that was Cindy that was, she had not seen the person's face much either, and while torn at first over what to do, she had already slipped out of Kurios's hand and began following the top hat above the crowd, forgetting to tell Kurios she was going to follow the possible stranger. At least the hat was easy to target, though she let a small giggle out as she heard Cindy/It chatted kindly with the matching black egg in the holders posession. Her small size comming in handy to slip in between crowds.

Piero was placing some items into a basket that he'd acquired at the end of the isle as he moved along, silently now for he had to remember the shopping list, and the egg he'd carried before still rested in the crook of his arm. There wasn't any sound coming from the egg as it seemed to be sleeping at such a late hour, and he hummed to himself as he moved along.
"Let's see, if I remember correctly you can get blood out of almost anything with bleach or any other type of strong acidic cleaner, and since it's only on glass..."
What an odd question.

Kashya wasn't sure how to approch the figure who had now stopped in front of her. HIS shape certainly defined that it was not in fact Cindy.
She would have headed back, where it not for that egg. The egg which had contained all he friends, and herself, the one that held not just life, but a...a new type of life within it. The egg would be someone like Kashya, but still not the same. She would meet this person eventually, so why not begin introductions now?
Kashya stepped foward, so that she would be clear to spot if he looked her way. Not that the kimono clad girl would be hard to miss anyway.
Timidly, she coughed into her hand, looking at the stranger from under her lashes. She opened her mouth to say something, but didn't know what to ask and just made it clear she was the speaker by taking another step closer. His top hat made him seem that much taller to the petite girl.

The sound of a cough did indeed attract Piero's attention away from the many kinds of bleach that he was studying, and he looked around at his own eye level for a moment before he stopped and lowered his gaze.
When it settled upon a girl who was less than half his height perhaps he simply blinked for a few moments before smiling, the dots finally connecting that this child was the speaker whom addressed him with her little cough.
"Well hello there, what brings you out on such a late night? Shopping with your parents?"
His voice was merry with kindness towards Kashya, as Piero had a great fondness for children, and he placed the item from the shelf he'd been holding back down before he fully turned his body in the little girl's direction.
"Did you wander off alone? That is not such a wise thing to do for someone as small and cute as yourself."
Piero continued to speak, aware of the soft thrum that now issued from the egg in the crook of his elbow. The small white wings on Pasayo's egg were fluttering once more, perhaps to show that Kashya was indeed someone she wanted to see, or perhaps it was a little bit of annoyance at the fact the conversation had moved away from being with her.

The strange man looked about him for only a moment, before his gaze at last met with her own. As she had noticed before, his dress sense was much like Riyo’s.
This tall figure seemed genuinely polite, and his tone was friendly and at ease. His pose exuded no air of ill will or forbidding attitude, nor did his kindness seem false. He seemed to Kashya, the type of Person Kurios would get along with, and for that reason, deemed him not to be a threat.
“It’s the only time of night I can get out, and Kurios has been wishing to take me shopping so I can tell him what I would like,” She responded, mimicking he care free attitude. She did not want to come across to her new aqua intense as being too tense, though she wasn’t sure if she heard her voice waver. She was still as shy as ever.
“Kurios isn’t too far behind me, and I can remember where I saw him last” She added. Kurios no doubt would notice her missing, but knew he would meet with her soon enough. He was starting to learn that Kashya was mature for someone her age. Still curios as a child, but her knowledge of how to properly act in situation was uncanny. If she was in trouble, she wouldn’t hesitate to run back to him. The two would meet up again at the Cash register she supposed.
“Your elbow seems to be fluttering by the way,” She said, as if it was natural, not yet making the connection that the winged egg was something more.

"I believe this child is feeling jealous now that I have stopped speaking with her and have moved to you. Let me move her out of my elbow so she can get a better view of you."
Piero set his basket down and used his now free hand to move Pasayo more into the open, his fingers careful so as to not injure her wings or clouds in any way. She seemed to react happily when Kashya was more visible to her (or the other way around) and Piero simply smiled.
"As long as you know were your guardian is than I suppose there is no harm is speaking to me and this child. She needs all the interaction she can get."

Kashya's eyes widened upon seeing the egg. It was beautiful, in a morbidly wicked way. It's dark colour sticking out against the vibrant fusia. Now, Kashya recognised it. As of her own egg when she hatched, and it was hard not to mistake those beatings. It was the ever familiar, Ashe egg. Different, but just the same as the ones she, Julien and Aesop had come from. She marvelled at it, and how quickly they seemed to be spreading.
"Don't be jealous," She said with a cooing tone, telling the egg that there was not a need for it to feel such a way. She placed her hand lightly on the shell, letting her hand run smoothly down it's side and catching the eye of it's holder to see if he would draw back.
"Kashya," She introduced, to both the strange man, and the egg. "And I too, am from one of these strange eggs," She added casually, as if it held no importance.
"But I wonder how you knew this was a child," She said, looking back at the stranger in the top hat. She assumed it was because he had met one of the others like herself, thus her reason for casualty. However, she wondered which one he had run into.

Piero did not draw back as Kashya touched Pasayo's frame, instead he only offered a gentle smile and kept the egg where it could be stroked even more if the other child wished to do so.
"It is a pleasure to meet you Kashya. My name is Piero Hoffmeister, though you may call me Piero if you want. This child is called Pasayo."
He ran his gloved hand over the black shell gently, the little wings responding in turn with a slight flutter and the egg itself emitting a gentle thrum.
"So you are a strange child from the wind as well then? I have met a young man who claimed the same thing and I will admit I was a bit skeptic, but seeing a little child as yourself saying the same thing I should no longer have doubts."
Another smile from Piero, who chuckled a bit at Kashya's final question of how he knew that the egg would hold a child and not some kind of bird or animal. In reality it was his habit to refer to everything as 'this child' but he was not sure how to explain that properly.
"I had a feeling she was something more than just an egg given to me by the wind. A normal egg does not show nearly half as much emotion and response as this little one does."

“Piero and Passayo,” repeated the infant girl, sweetly cupping the curve of the egg in her small hand and letting what ease of feelings she had be emanated around her. The gesture was by no means magical, it was as common as someone feeling happy among others who are, and sad with those who were not. She drew back with a sudden quickness as the wings flitted unexpectedly, only to begin studying their reactions so anxiously as they subsided whilst a soft hum grew.
Kashya could not help but to smile at his wording. A child of the wind was what he had called her in that eloquent manner of his. The description brought forth that of a much more air born babe than herself, and she laughed a child’s laugh at the image of seeing herself in comparison to those cupids who she had seen depicted. She was by far from having such fair skin and curly locks but her eyes turned curios with an anxious puzzlement.
“What is Skeptic?” She asked politely, trying to hide her lack of experience. While versed in many things, she was still learning lots of words. Though Curios found it was only some words. Night or rain or sun she knew, but words like ambivalence, plan or dye she didn’t know much of.
“So it’s not just a child now, you also have come to expect a set gender from it? She said with an almost eager tone. “Julien and Aesop are wonderful, company but Kurios says I might find more favourable friendships with girls,” She said as if Her new acquaintance should already know of these names. “What sort of things does she respond to?” she questioned, wanting to know more of the possible friend.

"I believe 'skeptic' means 'not believing' or 'doubting'. It means that when I first heard what he had to say I was not sure he was telling the truth and perhaps even thought of him a little bit of a liar. You should grow up to never doubt others as it tends to make you feel jaded - that is doubting - towards the real feelings of everyone else."
Piero would normally have reached out and patted the child on the head, had she been someone he knew well enough, for he found her childish questions and innocence quite adorable. Perhaps next time they would meet he would consider doing such an action but that would have to come after he knew her guardian well. One did not simply touch the children of another person regardless of the situation.
"Oh, you do not believe she will become a young lady like yourself? I do not know many young men who would sport such adorable pink wings and clouds like she possess. But that is not to say she could not be a young man, I would still love her as dearly as I do now."
When Kashya said names he did not recognize he merely assumed she was speaking of others just like herself, giving the man a sense of relief that there were not just the few he and his younger brother had seen or met. He figured that Kurios must have been the name of her caregiver which set him even more at ease. Someone to talk to.
"Respond to? Well, I believe she does like to be held and carried around, not to mention she likes being spoken to. We seldom leave her alone when we do things so she is never by herself."
