But I tell you one thing - it would be much much easier (and more pleasurable) to look for a birthday present for any of you here than for my sister...

Yea I never know what to get my mother for her birthday...nor many in my family for that matter..its pretty sad. Hope you find something good for your sis!

Oh, I alread got the present. That's why I said it wasn't as hard as expected. Got into the store, 5 minutes and boom - there it is.
Whether it's good or bad... we'll see. Though in fact her opinion won't surprise in any case.

I usually buy my dad socks, because he wants them, and I ask my mom what she wants and then get it for her. My little brother I've been treating to a movie for the past 4 years. This summer we went to see the newest Mummy-film, because he wanted to see it. =)
I don't usually like what people get me as presents, so I tell them not to get me anything, or then to treat me to dinner/a movie/bowling. Having a fun time with your friends is more important to me than them getting you some totally random crap that you don't want or like.

'cause giving someone socks in the States is usually considered a good way to make someone hate you. xd I don't know. I buy them, because when I ask him what he wants, he says 'socks'. biggrin
