The Fan Soundtrack

Have you ever sat down and said, "you know... this would be the perfect song for (insert-name-here)!" to yourself, and wanted to share that knowledge with other roleplayers in the same world? Or have you felt the need to play a certain song whenever you roleplay your character, or even read others' characters?

These feelings often mean that you've found a song that you really feel suits the character as their character theme, and the purpose of this project is to put together a soundtrack (or two, or three) of songs that we feel suit our characters best.

So dig up those songs you feel are just right, and use the submission form below to post them to this thread, and check out the front page for other character themes!

Character Themes

The songs in this section can be both instrumental and vocal, and generally stick to one per character*. (At most, one per character per stage of life.) These are songs that just absolutely sum up the character, that you cannot think of anyone but the character when you play.

Background Music

Background music, also known as BGM, is most commonly an instrumental song that fits perfectly as the background to a scene. It can be a vocal song, but those tend to be rare for background music. When posting a bgm piece, please make a note of what the scene is about.

Character Favorites

While this would not technically be part of the main project, I couldn't resist adding this section. Character favorites are songs that our characters have fallen in love with, that do not suit either the character themes or the background music sections. There is no limit to the number of character favorites, but please ensure that these are songs your character loves, and not simply songs you'd like to recommend.

Quested Character Themes

The songs in this section differ from Character Themes because they are specifically for characters that people are questing for. Ashes is such a welcoming community that I felt quested characters could be included in their own section. These songs can be both instrumental and vocal, and generally stick to one per character*.
