Alternatively, is he now drained down so that it might be harder for him to regenerate from now on having done what he did?

Their really is no point thinking about it. It's as confusing as a confusing thing in a confusing place on a confusing day.

Well he used the energy... but not all of it. Maybe he only used half of it and he'll do the same at the end when he has only a half left?

He'd have to have something around to drain off the energy again I think, or else have to just use it.

He dident change so Technically he dident regenerate. Regeneration is when he fully changes so hes did not lose a body and even if he did they would fined a way of him getting more. But David is not the 11th as well he is only the 10th. Because he dident fully regerate. A Full regeration is when he changes since he dident change he dident fully regerate. So my guess is when he dose regerate into his 11th body he will be alot weaker then all the others because he used most of his healing energy to heal the 10th version of him self but stoped the full prosess. Thats just my thought thow. Also if they do screw it up we can always blame RTD (Russel T Davis) for pulling that crap in the first place.

Supposedly he didn't regenerate because he drained the energy from the hand...and then the whole Doctor/Donna thing happened...I'm sooo confused LOL anyhoo, i'm sure RTD will explain it all. I sure would like to see them write in the daughter again in the coming episodes, that should prove interesting. Does it mean then, that she too has two hearts??? DANDANDAN!!!! BTW, my brother was with the Boys Scouts Camp last week and off the coast of Sta. Catalina Island here in California, they saw a small blue yacht with the name "T.A.R.D.I.S" LOL 3nodding

Well, isn't it his 11th regeneration, but his 10th body? After all, he would've died if he hasn't 'regenerated', so shouldn't it be called a 'regeneration'? Just because he used the energy from his hand to aide in his regeneration doesn't mean it doesn't count as one ... Does it? Wait, so does that mean The Doc only has one more regeneration? Aren't Timelords only supposed to regenerate 12 times?

That Lovable Lycanthrope Well, isn't it his 11th regeneration, but his 10th body? After all, he would've died if he hasn't 'regenerated', so shouldn't it be called a 'regeneration'? Just because he used the energy from his hand to aide in his regeneration doesn't mean it doesn't count as one ... Does it? Wait, so does that mean The Doc only has one more regeneration? Aren't Timelords only supposed to regenerate 12 times? I think they get 12 regenerations, giving them 13 bodies? So he's only regenerated 9 times ( or 10 depending on LOTL ), giving him 3 ( 2? ._. ) more?

I skittered on down to Wikipedia, and got all confuzzled with numbers, regenerations, and body counts. I hope the writers make The Doctor a wee bit more careful. He can't go dying every season. He'll be extinct soon enough at that rate.

I am Pretty Sure that they will fined a way of keep him going for years to come. They will fined a way for him to go passed the 13th body some how. I know they will.
