Word filtering is now ******** mandatory. I am only cussing right now to see if it is also in the guilds or just the normal forums. What do you guys think? I think this is some serious bullshit.

Good it was only a glitch. But could that have been an accidental leak of what the new system and all might bring with it?

I'm really hoping that it was a benign glitch and we won't have filters. Though I myself do not swear often, I don't appreciate censorship... Hey, isn't it already filtered slightly?
Edit: Yeah, the least amount of filtering is "Minimal Filtering". Oh well.

I don't know if it's unconstitutional to censor out swears on an online forum for a company based in the US, but I'm pretty sure it would be laughed out of any courtroom. I don't think the people in charge of this filtration thing would be so thorough to pull out every swear in every language, since there's so many of them and all.
But, no need to worry. If people want to curse so badly, a simple way around it is to put tags in the middle of the word. Exactly like the way I put in a bold tag between the colon and the D when I want to :D without that stupid emote popping up. Even though there shouldn't be a need for filtering swears out of a 13+ forum. It's ridiculous.

No wai! That sounds like it sucks! No, not sound like it, that DOES suck. Give people the choice like they do now. What's wrong with that?

Wow... That's sad. I don't think that it is a BAD thing, but I also think it's a bad idea. ...Wait. That didn't make any sense. It's good for the younger kids that are on here, but not the full grown people that KNOW about those words, that SHOULD know about their usages.
