The Grass Field
The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustled the flat grassland arena, sending small clouds of harmless pollen into the air. The land is completely flat, making manuverability easy to those build to walk on land.

"Alright!" Lamen said, entering the field and putting her breathing mask (which she had taken with her out of precaution) back into her bag.
The relaxed atmosphere of this field was pleasant, unlike the city streets field that haunted her still.
Speaking of haunting, it was about time she released Donut.
"Donut, go." She spoke the standard voice command for his Safari Ball, and it opened out of her hand- letting out a silver gastly, which sped around the field playfully. It appeared he was pleased as well (or was that just his excitement at battling Dreydonna again?)
"Gaaasss! Gaaasss!" He said, quite the cheerful ghost.

"Come on out, Dreydonna!" Renekai said happily. The Grass Field was always a nice field to be in. It felt nice and calm... For now.
Dreydonna bounced and bobbed through the air. When she spotted Donut, she cackled and made spooky faces at him, just for fun. Her past battles hadn't been so great with Donut, but this time, she was sure to win!
"Let's make this match a little more interesting~" Renekai said to Lamen. "The loser has to buy the winner lunch!"

"Huh?" Lamen said, taken by surprise by the sudden suggestion. Um... it couldn't hurt, could it? "... alright. Don't complain if you lose, though." She smiled and crossed her arms, remaining on her legs just in case emergency evasive maneuvers were needed. But the soft grass certainly was tempting to sit in...
"Donut, use shadow ball!" The starting move worked perfectly as usual, as her pokemon hurleda pitch-black blob at his opponent. He exclaimed dramatically.

"Deal!"
Renekai was used to this battle tactic, but with a little luck, she could make this her advantage. "Dreydonna, Lick him 'til he can't move!"
Dreydonna approached Donut with her tongue hanging out. The light of the stadium made her difficult to see, event for other Gastlies. "Hold still... This won't hurt a bit," she said, suddenly very close to the silver Gastly. Dreydonna lashed out.

((It's only one turn, so I'll pretend that Lamen has an item~ rofl ))
He had only thrown a Shadow ball, and look! The opponent had already gotten to him! He said, actually having as much fun as she was. Well... being paralyzed again, however, was a little less fun.
"I was expecting that." Lamen said, smirking as she pulled out a Paralyze Heal and released a long spray towards her pokemon.
The gastly said, recovering his senses already.

"That's no good; try again!" Renekai called, hoping that they would be lucky enough for a second successful paralyzing attack.
Quickly, and hopefully before Donut could escape, Dreydonna dove forward again, ready to Lick.

((Hawly crap. I'm as good as dead. xD Please miss at least once! I miss all the time. ;w; xd ))
It had been going rather well, and then... bam, Donut had lost his movement again. Unable to do anything, Donut squirmed, floating in place- it seemed he had been caught in the same trap that he usually inflicted upon his opponent. This reversal of situations was not pleasing!
Lamen shook her head, smiling. Although this was funny, she felt a little sorry for Donut. What a blow to his ego!

"Alright, nice!" Renekai shouted. "Now, use Shadow Ball!"
My, how the tables had turned! Dreydonna charged up a Shadow Ball, firing it at Donut. "Strike!" she cackled, dancing around the motionless Gastly.
"Now, now, Dreydonna! Don't mock him! You want him to be your friend, don't you?" Renekai said, unable to suppress a smile.
Dreydonna stopped cackling and dancing around, but she contented herself with grinning madly at Donut, awaiting Renekai's next command.

Gaaaas. Donut thought in irritation, having faced the same treatment in all of his recent battles. He pretty much gave up on struggling and braced himself for the upcoming attacks.

Renekai shook her head. Were all battles of Dreydonna versus Donut going to be the same? "Okay! Shadow ball!"
Dreydonna approached Donut slowly, her mists around her growing larger and merging together to form one swirling ball. 'Donna's mists weren't all used in the ball, however, and the amount used in the attack was quickly replaced. Dreydonna finished charging her shadow ball and began swirling it around herself, then dribbling it like a basket ball. Finally, with a wicked grin on her face, she threw the ball at Donut.
