Is that what it's called? I have no clue. It's some chinesey soup that's light brown and kinda clear in colour... slightly viscous... and it sometimes has shark fin in it. If it's high quality. biggrin I think there are tiny strips of pork or chicken in it too... bamboo shoots, mushrooms.. yeah man. I've got cravings for that right now. *DROOLDROOLDROOL* whee

mmm~~ a vegetarian version would be soooooo good! I hate eating the pork shreds that are in there! scream
This will so totally make an awesome side research project-o. I had this GORGEOUS vegetarian meal in Hong Kong. All my favourite Chinese dishes with zero fear of running into animal flesh. Oh let those good times roll~~~ ...in my head, over and over again. *mentally eats taro root stuff* domokun domokun

It's kinda hard to find it done well though. We hardly ever order it when we go out cuz my parents think it's like... crap most of the time. Thank gosh I have lower standards so I can enjoy it all, BWAHAHAHAA! xd

Then again, chinise in peru are different. It's not even called chinise restaurant, it's called Chifa

I wonder if you mean wonton soup by wantan soup?? That soup's made just for soup dumplings... wonton or whatever? or sui gao...? Hahahaha oh man I'm being so liberal with my chineeeeeze expressions. xd

Damnit Mikle, that stuff looks sooooo good! domokun I had no clue that Peru was so welcoming towards other cultures and their cuisine! Darnit, I totally want to eat some of that stuff now, especially Picarones. O M G.  And I now see how you feel about guinea piggies. *SOB* crying crying
