windigos are zombie like creatures...only they can think on their own...they have a long tongue and sickenly yellow skin...they often have missing lips and fingers (from frostbites) and they also heav a heart made of ice. they live around in northern Canada and often are in packs...windigos eat human beings...they delight in playing with their food...as in they drive you mad until you strip all of you clothes of and run into the wood yelling and howling in circles...then they consume you...windigos were humans ...how one becomes a windigo...(not recomended) is you get lost in the woods of northern Canada...and get so frightend that you go mad...one mand bragged that he had killed about 12 windigos...and later he got put in jail for murder of a women in his tribe...his defence was that she was going through the windigo transformation...the only way to kill a windogo is to destroy the ice heart...by melting it somehow or to shatter or pierce it with something silver.
