I haven't read it yet, and I'm not sure if I should.. Science fiction really isn't my... "thing" [for lack of a better word]
But I'm curious.. For those of you who have read it, would you recommend it?

I really enjoyed it. Stephenie is an awesome writer, she pulls magic out of her a**. So, I think you should read it. It's quite interesting. Makes you think.

it didnt really dill my pickle altogether but i agree. it does keep you reading once you get into it. if you wanna stay busy it's not too bad an idea 3nodding if you like fantasy or sci fi in general then this book shouldnt be too bad for you. just tkaes a little patience to get the book up to speed. it's a little mature but then again...dir Twilight is young adult. close enough.

I haven't read it yet. My best friend said it was REALLY good; she liked it better than Twilight. Most of the other people I've talked to have said it's very good as well. I've put it on hold at the library, but I won't get it for quite a while.

A little slow at first, yes, but I LOVED it. I am not a sci-fi person. In fact, I admit it. I love it MORE.

Yes, I'm late, but i did enjoy "the Host". It was completely different from Twilight, which I Stephenie major credit for, but it still gives off that "Stephenie" sense in the writing. Usually when an author makes a successful series, they get stuck with it (ex: Jk Rowling. She spent so much time thinking of the Wizard World, that now it's hard for her to come up with anything new). It's still a love story, and in weird ways, you can still relate.
