Eucalyptus -- or Eukkie, for short, has been around female Palui... but he never really interacted with them all that much. He never really did understand their behavior, and for some reason he has always felt awkward around them. Especially if they got too friendly with him. You can probably guess that this young fellow has just matured into... well, an adult Palui. He was more insecure than the other males around the human settlement, and felt most comfortable around the company of his only human companion. 
Then this golden, chipper Palui showed up out of no where while he was sunbathing close to the jungle's edge where he could be alone. She was just so happy and bubbly -- maybe a little assertive, that Eukkie was almost overwhelmed. Unfortunately, he ended up hurting her feelings somehow, because he thought it was a ridiculous idea to be called "Eukkie-bear". What was a bear, anyway?
He did feel bad, though... What was he to do? Should he go and pursue her, and tell her he's sorry? Where did she run off to, anyway? Eucalyptus heaved a sigh and went to follow her into the trees, trying to pick up her scent and all.
"Butterscotch? Where are you? I didn't mean to hurt your feelings!"

Butterscotch was walking with her onwer until she saw another palui. He was sunbathing and she though he was cute so she went over to start something up. he called her The mighty sun and push her aready big ego. She told him her name and he told her his. She though it would be nice to make a up a cute nickname for Eukkie because she like him But he did like it and hurt her feeling and she ran off crying. -sob sob sob-
i was only trieding to be nice. gonk
he was cute and i wanted to make him a cute little name.
I want to put the bear at the on the end of his name because my onwer show me a picture of one.

"Geeze, what a cry--"
Eucalyptus could hear sobbing, and one wouldn't need to guess who it was coming from. He sighed again and simply followed the sound until he saw a glimpse of gold. The green Palu ran faster until he managed to catch up with her, and he panted a little as he trotted alongside her.
"Hey, hey, hey.... Don't go crying off like that," he said, looking at her.
"It's dangerous in there, you know? I think you should stop running. Um, look. I'm sorry, okay? I'm not that good at socializing, sort of. Or maybe I'm not good with girls. I.. feel pretty bad. Just wanted to let you know that."

Butterscotch felt really bad about what happen and want to make everything better. She love that he came running after her and wanted to thank him for being so nice.

i'm also sorry that i ran a away. It fine that you are not good with girl and i don't care about that. That is just fine because your nice and i wanted to tell you your nice. ^^
i know that i wasn't the niecest girl when we meant and i want to say sorry for that too. i hope you forgive because i really like you and i hope you do too^^
Let get out of here and go onto the beach it that ok. you can called the shots now Eukkie-bear ^^

Eukkie sort of twitched when the female continued to add "bear" to the end of his name. He's going to have to find out what this bear is, somehow. However, he smiled a little.
"Friends, then? Um.. how about if I just called you Butter?"
And what was butter? There was a lot that he had to learn... He does know that he was named after a plant, but had no idea that it was also koala food.
"Well, you weren't really mean. Just, uh, hyper. Part of your nature, I guess.. Um, sure, the beach would be nice."
He went ahead and began walking toward the beach, making sure Butter was following him.

Butterscotch wasn't sure what was butter but she like the idea of getting a nickname from Eukkie. She was aslo very happy that Eukki call her him friend and couldn't wait until she learn more about him.
Sure...... yes that would be fine^^ yes i guess i am ... alittle hyper.....
She wanted to make that she cool her temper and hyperness down for she wouldn't make Eukkie go away. She follow him to the beach

The weather was nice, too. It was breezy, and the waves splashed gently onto the sandy shore. Eukkie trotted into the water, though didn't really go far, and was just soaking in. There were tiny, tiny fish swimming around his legs, which he watched for a moment. He was pretty much just cooling off.
"The water's nice," he called out to Butter.

Butterscotch love the water and wanted to get in. It was really cool and it was breezy.Just how she like it. She walk to the water a threw some water on Eukkie.
"He he he ..... got cha!

Butterscotch did not know what was getting in to her, But she was really playful and happy. Like a little school girl and she love it and the feeling. Maybe it because it was the first time she saw someone that look kinda like her and she full of joy!

Eukkie flinched when Butter splashed him with water, and his nose wrinkled a bit. He honestly didn't know what to do, and it has been a long time since he played such games. He only played games when he was little, and now he was probably boring to his two legged companion. Maybe he should be a little more playful.
"Um. How about.."
He trotted over to Butter and tapped her shoulder with his paw before he bolted away from her, making splashes as he ran through the water.
"Tag, you're it!"

Butterscotch was in so much joy! She wasn't sure if this would make Eukkie happy or mad . She was gald that it didn't make him mad. She ran after him and jump on top making one big splash in the water. Lucky it wasn't deap. She gave Eukkie a gaint hug.
Ummm... i hope that didn't make you mad but... tag your it!
She jump off him and trotted off.
Eukkie-bear are you coming!

"Oof," he went when Butter pounced him. It certainly did make a big splash in the water, but no harm was done. Eukkie was a big boy, but boy was Butter fast! He blinked when she gave him a hug before she ran off. Eukkie smiled sheepishly and got back to his feet, shaking water from his sage fur.
He ran after her, huffing a bit as he pushed himself to catch up with the golden Palui. Suddenly, he tripped and tumbled back into the water.
"Oww."

She was running away really and decide top look back. As she did she saw Eukkie trip and fall. She ran back to him.
"Eukkie! Eukkie are you ok you ok."
She went to go help him and drag him out the water and Lick his face. She notcie that he was gettine sleepy.
"Eukkie are you sleepy?Would you like to go to bed with me?"[but not like that way..] XD just sleep
She start to walking away to her hunt
"Come this way my hunt this with my master you can meet her and then we can go to sleep."
