 It was one lazy morning. The sun had just barely rose over the horizon creating a prefect silhouette of the trees that barred the dew stained grass that the purple female was laying in. Eyes turned to shut while the feathers of her tail had collected little droplets of water. She had to be just as damp as the greens around her and yet in this lazy substitute she seemed utterly content to dream of a life she knew she would never have. The long movements of the water... the lapping of a the salt sea at her paw pads... it would be the life, and yet sadly she was still stuck on this land sheltered in the shade of the wood that kept her chained to this life.

A drop of dew landed on her head from the tree above her, waking her up suddenly. She stood and stretched slowly, not actually wanting to get up. Looking around her brown eyes land on an object glittering in the sunlight. Treasures? She thinks to herself. Wonder what kind. Hopefully gold. Or jewels. She prances off to where the object sits only to find in was a stone glittering with dew. Darn. Not treasure. She goes and lays back down under her tree with a sigh.

With a slight yawn, Elysium's body twitched, along with the movement the feathers flicked across the watered grass which caused her whole body to stir. Blurry eyes awoke to the sound of distant movement. Pulling herself to her two front paws, she sat, wiping sleep from her eyes when she swore she spotted a rather strange creature in the trees. Was that clothing? She was now a bit curious. She had heard of clothed lions before in story books but she had never seen one before. With the lope-sided slope of her head, Elysium watched the clothed cat move away further from where Elie was now seated. "Hey!" She knew she couldn't let this opportunity slip away, "Hey, wait up!"

At the sound of someone yelling behind her, Feathers stopped and turned around. The brightly colored lion came rushing up to her. Wonder what she wants? Maybe she knows where I can find treasure. She got excited at the thought, but kept it hidden. She didn't want to seem too eager. "Yes? Can I help you miss?"

"Oh ummm..." The lioness paused. Sadly, she really hadn't thought this through. Did she really want to say anything to the female? Elysium had quickly lost her trail of thought and she knew she was now standing there as if a dimwitted girl. Shaking her head, she sighed a bit. "I just... haven't seen anyone else in so long." She was mumbling with her eyes no longer on the clothed lion. "Is that alright?"

Darn, no treasure. Oh well. Feathers looked at the girl standing before her. She seems a bit... off. Smiling she bowed her head slightly, "No problem, I'm The Great Pirate Feathers, but you can call me Feathers. What is your name?"

"My-my name?" Thinking for a long moment, the purple female slowly gazed up for a slight moment. "Elie.." She gave a slight nod of satisfaction after saying the name, pasting a smile on her face. "You're a pirate? What are you doing so far inland if you don't mind me asking?" She looked slightly hopeful after saying this, any story of water was sure to intrigue her and she was sure this pirate had to have LOTS of those kinds of stories, didn't she?

"Ellie, that's a pretty name." She smiles at the girl. How did I end up inland? Thats kind of a long story." Not really, dirty rats for a crew, stealing her beautiful ship AND her map. Good thing I've got a good memory, I'll find them and my treasure before anyone knows what happened. "The crew I hired decided to mutiny and stole my ship. Now I'm on a journey to find my treasure. Now miss, I must be getting back on my way, if you don't mind." She turns back in the direction she thinks is the right way and starts walking. After a few moments she stops and turns again looking ahead. Darn, this might be more helpless then I thought. She plops down on the ground exasperated. What am I going to do now?
