Theory has it that the elemental Chandra first originated from the normal form. The higher form is a mutation of sorts, an abrupt evolution as they struggled for life in the mystical woods in which these creatures reside. It seems that this change is rare and can be achieved through a specific trial by the elder of the element of which they'd like/need to evolve to. To gain entry in this trial, they must meet the following requirements:



It is also said that, depending on the element of the chandra, phases of the moon can cause them to appear. For instance, angels affiliated with the light tend to appear when the moon is at its fullest in the night sky. While demons, affiliated with darkness, appear when the nights are the darkest during the new moon. Unlike light and dark, earth, wind, fire and water are not affiliated with a particular stage of the moon as they have distanced themselves from their roots. They still feel the tug of their mother, the moon, but not as strongly as normal, light and dark chandra. During these instances where the elemental chandra are called forth, they most likely will not be conversion Chandra, nor will they be customs.

We here at Wandering Moons will be keeping a list of all Chandra that are registered by their owners for them to get a chance at becoming a higher form Chandra. You are only allowed to have ONE chandra of yours to go for an elemental Chandra at any one time. If one of them succeeds... then you can register another Chandra to try and start back at square one with the sequence.

You are required to have a normal Chandra in order to do this. If you don't have one stick around the shop thread. There's usually some sort of events happening.

Registration is required so we at Wandering Moons know which of your Chandra are trying to become a higher form, and which type of higher form they are trying to become.

On the registration form you will see a place where you can have something "happen" to your Chandra, random color change/appearance on your Chandra. This is entirely up to the colorist on what happens. If you don't want this feature simply put no in that section of the registration form.

The change of your Chandra must be RPed, and it must be RPed with the staff.

Changes only occurs in adult Chandra. You may register your Chandra at a younger age, but no change will occur until they hit adult stage and the right has been earned.

When it comes to RP, the change in becoming an elemental Chandra is drastic. Not only is it a mental change of alignment, it's also a physical change. For some, its sprouting wings, a different tail or horns. Because this is a serious event in your Chandra's life, feel free to RP both the mental and physical changes and the possible pain that it entails.
