 Mist walked across the barren wasteland surveying every dead body on the land. About a month ago she had been taken into the pack as a young wolf and now she was a full on member. Not only that, but one of the two priestesses of the pack. It was a position that was respected by most. For those who were strong it was an easy task to keep the position. For those who were weak it was nearly impossible. Mist wasn't one of the weak ones. She was strong and she let everyone know that she wasn't a wolf to be trifled with.
Her violet eyes scanned the territory watching for movement that may bring on a meal or an enemy.

A pair of strong, blue jaws parted in a lazy yawn as the body of the jaws rose and stretched. Three blue spotted tails lashed back and forth as Achan surveyed the land, looking for a speck of food to eat. He had noted earlier, before his nap, that this was the Bones Pack's territory, but Achan being himself, didn't really mind. Sure, he knew that the Bones Pack was known for being visious but in his mind he thought, no he knew he could take them on.

Mist ran forward and saw a rabbit. Carefully she stalked up to it and pounced it. Dinner. Not far off she saw a lump of blue fur. None of her pack members had blue fur so this must've been someone else. She walked towards the figure with her two tails twitching. Coming closer she saw that it was an adult male. Rogue most likely. He was brave. He had most likely heard of the Bones' Pack's ways and probably knew this was their territory.
Delicately she walked towards him, her dull pink paws barely making a noise on the cracked terrain. "And what do you think you're doing here?" She asked in a mild tone. Not aggressive nor was it inviting.

Achan snorted as a pink female stalked up to him and asked him what he was doing there. She had lighter pink markings all about her body, splotches with a definite-looking shape. She seemed younger, not yet an adult. He smiled slyly. "I think that I have just gotten up from a nap and that I'm about to snag some prey from this barren wasteland you call territory." He raised a would-be eyebrow, challenging the girl to say something about it.

Mist showed no reaction to his challenge. "If it's such a wasteland why are you still here?" Today was a good day. She didn't need to crave fighting today, unless it was necessary. Still, it would be entertaining to be able to finally communicate with someone. Last time she had a conversation was a long time ago with their leader and Mali. And that conversation was about her becoming Priestess. Nothing just because.

Achan smiled slightly and whispered his words into the wind. "Because I can," he spoke with a stoical look on his face. No expression met his words as he sat there, the slight wind whipping around his shoulders, ruffling the fur that stood upon his tail.

Mist looked at him as he said those words. Shrugging she turned around and headed back to where she had dropped her prey. She didn't want some other conniving animal to steal her prey. Besides, their conversation was just the same as the ones had had always had. Boring.

Achan's eyes slanted. What happened to the Bones' Pack being tough? Plus, this new female was puzzling. Most of the other females had crawled all over him, saying something about his good looks, or 'pretty' coat color, but this female? She had just shrugged him off, no problem. What was happening to him?
"What are you doing?" Achan questioned the female, stalking forward a few, silent steps. He was not going to let her off that easy.

Mist stopped and turned around. "What do you want?" Her eyes were narrowed boredly at him as if she gazed through. Why wouldn't he leave her alone? Today was one of her good days. Did he just have to push it? What did he want? Does he want her to chase him out? The day had been boring enough and this wasn't helping.

A glint of amusement shone is Achan's eyes at the fact that he had to explain this to her. "You are a member of the Bones' Pack, right?" Already knowing the answer, Achan pressed on. "Why didn't you chase me out?" He sat back on his haunches and awaited an answer, clearly wanting to know.

Mist turned around and answered his question, "What, so you actually want to be chased out?" Maybe this day wouldn't be so boring after all. This male was proving to be a good wolf to converse with. She sat down and dropped her rabbit beside her, now waiting for his answer.

Achan sighed. "No, not really. I like to come and go when I please. I just don't understand how I came into the Bones' Pack's territory, planning to steal some prey, and... nothing." He tilted his head questioningly, wondering exactly why this female was doing absolutely nothing to protect her pack, if indeed he was a threat.

Mist sighed. She'd have to explain her story to him. "The Bones' Pack is fierce indeed. But, some of us aren't fierce 24/7. Today was one of my few good days and wasn't going to let an intruder, you, ruin it. Does that pretty much cover it?" Mist preferred not referring to others as you, he, she, or anything like that such. "So, what's your name?" She asked.

"Ah, okay," Achan nodded, understanding. He fixed the girl with a glare, refusing to give up his oh-so precious name easily, especially to a Bones' Pack member. He narrowed his eyes to small slits and stared at her. "Who wants to know?" He asked, no expression accompanying his deep-throated growl.

Mist held a small smile as he said those words. He had wits she'd give him that. "And who wants to know that?" She countered. She didn't have a growl in her words like he did, just good humor. Something she hadn't shown in her whole life.
