The clouds overhead seemed to threaten the world with rain, casting shadows upon the ground, but Alik did not care too much. The rain would be welcomed, the humidity surrounding him made him want the rain, wish for it. He probably should have gone and searched for a stream or a river, but the effort it would take to do so was overwhelming. And so, he decided to wait for the rain in the middle of this field. Looking up at the sky, gold eyes watched as the clouds moved, got darker, and he smiled. Finally, it would pour.

Lucifer galloped across the field, he felt as if the clouds were chasing him with the promised of the worst weather he'd seen since he was born, and yet, they wouldn't fulfill the promise of a storm , or even a drizzle.
He finally began to stop at the sight of another at the field , he huffed for a second and trotted toward him formally introducing himself. " Hi there, I'm Lucifer Von Helson." He had a sort of smile a small child would have because they really didn't know how to smile, but it suited him well, or so he'd been told.

Alik jumped and tore his eyes away from the sky. Another foal was in the field and coming straight towards him. His eyes widened and he took a step back. “Hello.” He said, studying the other foal, or colt he should say. He was blue and seemed to be very happy.
Alik frowned slightly; really it just made him look bored. “I’m Alik Elric.” He stated, collecting his composure and watching the other soquili come towards him

"Alik Elric..." Lucifer said, as if trying to memerize it on the spot. "That ryhmes, a little." He said to the other, looking slightly upwards at the rain which was to come. "Nice day, eh?" He said with a slight chuckle, the type which hinted there was just a touch of arrogance in a person.

Alik also moved his eyes up to the sky to gaze at the grey clouds. “Yes, I do believe that it is a wonderful day.” He had always liked the rain, running in it was one of the only exercises he was willing to put himself through. Shifting his gaze to the other colt he replied to the comment on his name, “I don’t know why my parents named me Alik, I think my father might have done it just to laugh every time he says it.” His dad was like that, laughing at stupid things, his name included. He sighed at the thought of his father and how disappointed he seemed to have a son that never did anything, and then shrugged his shoulders, letting the thoughts sink into the ground never to appear again. Some things just needed time to get better, or it was not meant to.
