Clouds covered the sky, shadowing the ground and making the world seem darker and far more lonely then it should. Bright green leaves pulled the thin limbs of the tree that was above her down to the ground, shielding the scenery behind it. Silver eyes peeked between said foliage, looking at the surroundings. It looked like it was to rain at any moment, and as the thought formed, a large raindrop hit a leaf, and seconds later, it was pouring onto the tree surrounding her. Lux looked up and was grateful for the trees covering, and was glad that she had enough sense to know that it was going to rain and that shelter was what she had needed. But the rain meant that her day had been ruined, what was left of it anyways. Now she was stuck underneath this tree that drooped, and she suddenly felt the insane urge to go for a run. Stupid rain. Running now would mean sickness later. She shifted her wings in agitation and boredom. What was she to do now?

The grey stallion was laying under a tree, enjoying the cloudy day. Earlier he had drifted to sleep, but now he was awaking because of the pitter patter of the raindrops on the leaves. His spotted ears flicked forwards then back at the sounds. A yawn slipped from his maw and his legs gathered underneath him. His body slowly lifted and he blinked a few times. Everything became clearer and clearer as he blinked. Hm... there didn't seem much to do on a cloudy day. A sigh escaped the stallion as he started to walk under the trees. The sweet scent of wet grass filled his lungs as he walked. Only now and then would he feel a drop reach his back. Trees above Apple made great umbrellas for him as he walked.

A sigh was heard, even above the rain, showcasing how bored Lux was getting to be. How to get out from under this tree without getting soaked? Looking to her left and then she looked to her right. The trees were so close and that the leaves seemingly blend together forming one giant covering. She gave a sigh again, although smaller, and took to the right, walking under the trees. Often she would look up and then sidestep, trying her hardest to not even get a drop on her. It happened though, every once in a while a drop would plop right onto her back, causing her to jump and then shiver. Stupid rain…

His ear felt a drop of rain and he flicked it gently. Apple looked up towards the sky. Rain was a good thing, but he wished he could meet someone to make it fun, like his sister could. A smile formed on his face as he thought of her. His long, grey tail dragged behind him as his grey eyes scanned the area. Everything and one seemed to be hiding from the rain at this moment. The stallion let his eyes squint for only a second as they continued their search for anything. All he saw were plants of all sorts. No animal in sight.

Lux continued her walk, trying to keep her spirits up. Maybe in a couple of minutes it would stop. She looked up to the sky, seeing that it was still raining, she thought not. She tilted her head back down and looked ahead to find a grey stallion, which hadn’t noticed her and was looking off to the side at something. She freaked slightly and tried to hide behind a nearby tree. In her haste to get away she hadn’t noticed that a twig had been snapped. Now she just hoped he would walk right by her. Normally she wouldn’t worry so much, but today was already a bad-ish day, what if this stallion made it worse?

Apple's eyes looked straight ahead. Behind a tree, he saw a few black feathers sticking out. A curious tilt of his head appeared and he began to walk towards the tree at a slower pace. When he reached the tree, he peeked his head around it. "Um... Hello?" Apple asked, noticing the mainly red mare hiding. Did he scare her? No other seemed to be afraid of Apple. He blinked then let a friendly smile tug at the corners of his mouth.

Lux froze with a jolt then looked up at the stallion who had found her rather easily. “Uh, hi.” She answered. She quickly moved around the tree to stand next to him, standing but a few inches away. “I didn’t see you there.” Of course she was lying. Why else would she be behind a tree? But he didn’t need to know that. She gave a small smile then let it drop from her face. She should really stop trying to be anti-social.

His face gave a curious look towards the mare. He didn't quite know what to say at that moment. It seemed as though she was hiding from him at first. Apple's shoulders shrugged a little and he nodded his head at what the mare said. "I see. Not too easy to see others when there is a huge tree trunk in the way." A smile spread on his face, but it was only little. Did this mare not want to talk to him?

“Yeah, I suppose. I was just walking and I saw this tree with,” she looked at the tree and noticed some small flowers at the bottom of it, “these small pretty flowers and decided to get a closer look.” An amazing excuse if you asked her. She had a small smile on her face; in her mind she was patting herself on the back. Now, he couldn’t say she had been hiding.

He nodded his head a little. His eyes lowered towards the ground where the flowers were. Well, she wasn't lying that there were flowers there. He laughed a little in his head then looked back up to the mare. Apple's eyes then looked around at the surrounding areas. It was quiet, but probably because it was raining. A drop was felt on his back and he scooted his body closer to the tree.

She watched him lean towards the tree and that’s when her surroundings came back to her, and there was a rain drop hitting her periodically on her head. She shook her head, shaking her hair, making the water that was on her fling away on to the semi-wet grass. She moved off to the side, trying to escape the water making its way through the canopy of leaves above them both. Stupid rain…

Apple yawned a little and stretched his muscles. He felt like running, or walking since he couldn't really run at a time like this. His long grey tail flicked behind him a little as he thought. Maybe the mare would want to walk as well? He shrugged a little. "Um... would you like to walk?" The grey stallion asked, looking for a direction the two could go without getting themselves wet.

Lux jerked slightly at his question but nodded. "A walk sounds nice, as long as it is not in the rain. The rain is nice, but I am not to fond of getting wet." She answered, giving another small smile. She loved to be in motion, walking runnning, swimming. It was all wonderful to her. Plua, a walk would let them get to know each other. There could even be the chance of them becoming friends.

He smiled and nodded. When his eyes landed on a spot where they could walk tree under tree, he decided that was the best. Slowly, he began the walk, making sure that she stayed behind him. "Don't worry, I'll go first." Apple's eyes looked up at the trees then at the ground. He made sure to try and avoid the wet patches of grass and dirt, they were probably where they rain dripped from the leaves.

Lux followed right on his tail, so to speak. He was obviously avoiding the rain and he knew where the rain dripped, so she stuck to him like glue. They were silent as they trekked and she felt the need to speak of something. She moved to his side, still concentrating on avoiding all drippage. "So, what were you doing walking around here?" She asked, trying to start a conversation.
