Bio: There was always something special about Simone Lierberkuhn. Unbeknowst to Mona, her body had a deeper connection with Spiritual Energy than other beings. Despite this she managed to have a normal life with her grandma up until the age of 15. After a shopping trip Mona and her grandmother were being attacked by creatures she had never seen before in her life. One of her classmates was able to pick up on her Spiritual Energy and defended her from the creatures. But what startled him was she had no wounds on her body, when he witnessed her bleed out from the attack.
Unfortunately, the same couldn’t be said for her grandmother. The man vanished from the scene as first responders arrived, where She died from her wound’s hours later. At her grandmother’s funeral, she was sensed out by the man that saved her days ago. While they both mourned, the two were both intrigued by each other’s discoveries; Jerich with Mona’s healing ability and Mona with Jerich’s powers. He explained how he trained at what was called a spirit dojo and that if she was willing to become a student, she could find the answers she was looking for. After that day Mona was an official student of the Spirit Dojo.
In the 5 years she trained at the Dojo she began to understand more about not just the hollows that attacked her, but other races as well and the different realms. Most importantly, her connection to spirit energy. As a result, she became one of the essential members in the dojo for her healing ability. Concurrently, she deduced that it was more to it and their knowledge about spiritual energy couldn’t take her to the conclusion she desired. It worked to their benefit in those five years as Earth began to witness events that were, abnormal to say the least. The creatures she saw years ago, amongst others began to invade their realm and cause massive destruction all over the world.
Mona assisted on the battlefield where she could but more on the medical aspect of battle; using her saving many lives of the students of the Spirit Dojo as well as innocents caught in the fray. However, the last battle they had survived would be their last for all of them…Or so it seemed. Somewhere between the battle a virus was spread and infected the students and teachers on a vacation. It laid inside of them for days, with asymptomatic signs. Then within days they began to turn on each other, as if they were being controlled. Mona however was unaffected by the virus; ergo she was one of the first few that was caught off guard from the attack by who she thought were her friends, and family.
She survived the initial onslaughts thanks to her healing, trying to reason with them and find out what happened to them. With escape as her last option she found Jerick, one of the last few who appeared normal during the chaos, relieved that he among the others was alive. Her thoughts betrayed her, as suddenly a portion of a sword emerged at her heart. Blood gurgled from her chest as she heard Jerick’s last few words, before her body collapsed to the floor.
She awoken hours later unscathed to a massacre of her family, filled with horror, rage and defeat. And in the distance she heard chatter, something about survivors. Simone readied herself, looking for the nearest place for cover where she would strike. Just as she was about to engage, they spoke in her direction.
"Simone Lieberkuhn I presume? We're not going to hurt you....Jerich told me you would survive."
"...Who are you?"
The two explained that they were with a group called "Spirit Marauders." They were a group that seeked out individuals with high spirit energy readings; much larger than the ones in the Spirit Dojo. At least the majority of them anyway; the next stage after the Spirit Dojo, an "Honor Roll" class of sorts. The two explained that Jerich was the one that told them about her days before their last battle.
"The way he explained your abilities made the rest of the group skeptical of his words. Had we listened to his words, there could have been a way to save them from the S-Virus."
"S-Virus??"
The S Virus was the cause of her friends death's, specifically their insanity beforehand. While the two didn't know what was behind it, they did find a trail. And if Mona accepted their offer to join them, then two things would happen. With her help they could not only find out who was responsible for this, but gave their word they could her access to resources that could dive deeper into her power. A power that was last discovered during the Shinobi Era.

Yuusei is a man many would describe as a wild delinquent, a man who dares not limit his feelings or actions to society's laws, fully dismissing any and all complaints towards his behaviors. He is the kind of man who does what he wants without worrying about the judgement of others, believing that so long it is him that is doing it as himself he had no need to worry. Some could call him a “Delinquent,” a “Thug,” and many other things linking to young men with a rebellious nature, but to him he's just a Youthful Badass whose sense of freedom and adventure knows and holds no bounds. Yuusei typically talks to others with a very lax but also confident tone of voice, never sounding to be bothered about doing nothing in a situation, but also at the same time knowing exactly what the something is that he must do. He often doesn’t like to speak with or give people the appropriate honorifics, giving even well distinguished and highly honorable individuals cute and sometimes demeaning nicknames. This is one of the reasons why he often gets into fights unnecessarily, a lack of respect towards those of a higher social standing who believe themselves to be higher than him. Even when told not to, Yuusei will most of the time fight someone he does not like, the only exception being that the fight in general causing future problems for his allies or his own self Image. With these as his limitations, Yuusei actually knows when it truly is okay to fight and when it is not, knowing the difference between protecting his image and throwing it away depending on his actions and words. He appears to have a delinquent like manner of speech, often speaking roughly and not having any actual etiquette in his manner of speech let alone his actions. He also seems to be rather dramatic, or explosive, with his actions, often striking poses when the situation is appropriate or dramatically doing simple things such as sitting in a chair, this is to simply let out the energy he always has building up inside him, also to create an impression.
[Importance of his self image]
Indeed he is a man that carries himself with well deserved confidence and the kind of power that belongs to someone who has face many challenges within their life. It’s rare for Yuusei to ever walk without such a posture or be without the attitude and mannerisms that would suit it, in fact he, as a Shinobi, makes sure to preserve this image he has built up from nothing. He often will go to great lengths just to make sure any emotional or mental damage does not so much as scratch this image in the conceptual sense, going so far as to hide any fatigue he may gain from horrid injuries. This aspect of him is a dangerously bad habit as he will indeed sacrifice his health just to make sure those around him do not fret or worry for him. This goes quite a way back for the young man, starting during his childhood and building up over the years into a self harming sense of pride. He is not one that fears death, but will fight it as hard as his willpower should allow him to as he believes that should he die without resistance, less he will be forgotten. If he could not raise his fists to death any longer, Yuusei will go out of his way to die a noble death, even if that means a possibly peaceful death becomes a nightmarish one. However, should a peaceful and accepting death were to be beneficial to someone rather than resisting one, Yuusei would have no choice but to accept the former. His previously stated strong desire to keep his image fully alive can indeed become rather wild and destructive, Yuusei even willing to perform stunts or perform actions that he would consider stupid or actually frightening. It is his belief that once his image has so much as a smudge on it, it is his duty as a man to make it shine again, no matter the cost. This behavior can be seen as foolish, even Yuusei admits that his desperation to keep his image alive can get pretty drastic and moronic, but despite that he has no shame in doing so as his image is the last thing of any true worth to him. His image is where all his confidence comes from, it is something he created with his own hands, it is something he thinks of to get himself out of emotional tough spots, it is something he uses to inspire others. It is his image and every form of value he has in it that he detests the thoughts, personality, and habits of those who have nothing but blind loyalty towards someone. While he regards loyalty as something certainly important, he truly begins to despise it when someone stops thinking of themselves as their own person. This does not come from some tragic death of an old friend who died because of such extreme loyalty, but rather it is a simple unconditional hate and he’s proud that it doesn't go any deeper than that. While he will be loyal to someone and even die for that person should the situation arise, he will not allow it to compromise who he is and what makes him, him.
[Rough, manly values, has some level of politeness]
When upholding his image or being the self proclaimed Badass, Yuusei exhibits a rough and tough behavior that he isn't afraid to throw around in the presence of others, even if it means offending some of the more polite and reserved. His interactions with others often have quite a bit of physical contact and lack of personal space, no matter how well acquainted he is with the other party. While he would do nothing intimate, one should expect the young man to put someone into a headlock, a rough shoulder slap, or even a welcoming punch to the face. These are not the only rough behaviors he exhibits, he as well tends to kick his feet up on a table, kicking a door open, tackling his friends, and even giving them a full on punch to the face whenever he believes them to be in a bad situation as to “knock their senses back into them,” or if they simply annoy him enough. He is also known for his teasing and friendly bullying he often puts his friends through, laughing at their inconvenience so long as it isn’t something serious, putting them in some kind of situation that he would find funny, and making fun of their faults and constantly bringing such things up just to mess with them. Yuusei has notable values that he upholds to the highest regard and will fight for them as well, even going so far as to work to spread these values of his as far as he can. These values consist of Chivalry, Honor, Tradition, Ambition, Respect, Rivalry, Family, and Friendship. Each of these he tries to show in his daily life, showcasing how great they are to others whenever he can. For chivalry he will do everything in his power to protect the weak, never back down from an enemy, never lie without purpose, and of course give to those who are without nothing; these concepts from Chivalry ties into his desire to be heroic, more often than not displaying these rules of Chivalry whenever he has the opportunity to save or protect someone. When it comes to honor Yuusei has exhibited to be a man who values promises, fair duels, and gives his respect when it is due, so much so that is even willing to mourn and cry for an honorable enemy; When it comes to fighting, Yuusei will indeed do his best to make sure that the fight remains honorable, disabling any ability to cheat, honoring his opponents, and not allowing those who have earned his respect to be ridiculed or die by his hands when their death is not necessary, believing it to be better to let them live, improve themselves, then fight them again at some point in the future. Yuusei has a great respect for tradition, believing that whatever he consumes must be given proper gratitude as it was once something that lived which had to die in order to sustain him, believes that it is a man's duty to bare the negative emotions of those close to him so that they may smile. Yuusei’s desire to give respect to those that deserve it is indeed worth noting, always giving his respect to those who are indeed strong, kind, and have a sense of justice in some way or another, he believes all people deserve respect until they show that they do not deserve it. For Rivalry, Yuusei appears to be quite enthusiastic over the concept of rivalry, giving his all to surpass those he has labeled as rivals, no matter what field of rivalry they’re in, Yuusei will uphold them to a high standard, often getting angry with them should their fighting spirit falter and cry from their loss of life, when he finds a rival that he truly does enjoy, Yuusei more often than not will grow a bit obsessive with them, truly wishing to enjoy the thrill of both of them growing and constantly challenging each other. Friends and Family is indeed an important thing to Yuusei as he had none while growing up, though it was only really a single person, an old man who just happened to come across a homeless child, Yuusei through a lack of Family has grown to deeply cherish the concepts of Family and Friends, greatly seeing their beauty and the bonds with them, truly enjoying himself in seeing healthy Familial and Friendly bonds, though of course Yuusei cannot forgive those who would treat their own friends and family in a cruel manner, often beating them to a pulp for doing such a thing; once Yuusei has made a friend of someone, he will go to great lengths to make sure he can do whatever he can for those he calls Friends or Family.

The idea of Heroism is incredibly important to Yuusei, being something he has admired long before his dream of becoming a Heroic Shinobi. To Yuusei, Heroism is the act of saving someone and then “beating the crap out of whatever villain is involved and possibly reform them with your fists and forge a manly bond.” This vision of heroism is something, like all things he believes in, is something he refuses to change no matter how many lectures or convincing arguments he may hear. He has become set on this idea of heroism and will under no circumstances change this. This ideal goes so far that he is completely willing to take a decisive blow for someone else’s sake as that is something a Hero would do. Those he believes need saving have no limits as he seeks to save as many people as he can, no matter their age, gender, social standing, or even strength. Yes, Yuusei will dive into danger to save someone strong, no matter how apparent that strength may be or if the danger ahead of them is something they could easily handle. This comes from the fact he believes that actively ignoring a rescue is the same as giving up on being a Hero. It is for that reason that no matter who one may be, he will absolutely save them, though of course villains are a more complicated issue. If he believes a villain who could be saved both morally and literally, Yuusei will come to their rescue, no matter how many terrible acts they have committed, he would even do the same for his Brother’s killer. Another aspect of heroism Yuusei believes in is the fact that it is a Hero’s duty to have the courage to destroy what the masses are too scared or weak to do themselves. Indeed, this means that Yuusei does not simply believe in the Heroism that falls under superheroes, but the ideal heroism of folktales, myth, and legends. He at times of course will make claims as to what a Hero would do in a situation, or call himself a Hero in order to hype himself up.

Yuusei is for a lack or better term, violent and incredibly so. As mentioned before, the young man is always getting into fights simply because it’s someone he doesn’t like, of course there are times when he has actual reasons behind that but in truth: Yuusei craves fighting stronger opponents. While he doesn’t mind fighting weaker ones, a part of why he wanted to become a Hero was to partake in fights that tested his strength, made people wonder who had the stronger punch, who would fall first, and ultimately fuel the air with manly spirit and hot blooded tension. He could most definitely be called a “Combat Otaku,” easily getting excited at the idea of a good fight coming ahead, but at the same time keeping cool about it and not visibly showing any excitement. This profound love for fighting and violence comes from the fact his older brother was a professional Boxer, a man who dominated fight after fight with his dynamite punch, a punch Yuusei had inherited and has deep pride in. Originally Yuusei had planned on becoming a professional boxer for the gym he and his brother went to together, but it was after the tragedy that took his brother’s life that changed Yuusei’s dream, wishing to avenge his adoptive father, and at some point create a school for aspiring ninja. Being relatively full of himself and arrogant at times, Yuusei is extremely competitive in a variety of ways that involves him winning, often willing to take on any and all challengers by himself or participate in competitions ranging from simple fights to games of chance, making him incredibly prone to gambling. This unfortunately is reflected in his usual habit of getting into fights with others, especially with delinquents from other towns or cities, brawling with anyone he deems strong enough to take him on in a straight fight. Yuusei is naturally competitive and always seeks to excel farther than anyone, rejecting failure or loss, possessing a near vicious tenacity to win that forces him to push onward, even when injured or dying. Unfortunately, this also makes him a sore loser, and will go to great lengths to redeem himself from a defeat, such as re-challenging his opponent, training, etc. As stubborn as he may be, Yuusei does show to have a genuine fighting spirit that is not so easily broken, even in the worst of scenarios. This in turn gives him an unnaturally strong sense of willpower, that, through sheer force of will alone, has always allowed him to move past great physical pain and psychological trauma, making him inflexible about the prospect of losing to someone else and will refuse to surrender no matter how much the odds are stacked against him or downright ever give up and admit defeat. Unfortunately, to make things worse, Yuusei is rather vulgar, nonchalantly throwing expletive language left and right, reading porn magazines out in the open, and sometimes making dirty jokes. This mostly comes from the environment he grew up in at his brother’s boxing gym, completely surrounded by guys who accidentally let their language fly loose around him. While he has a mild pervertedness to him, he is not one to peep on women thanks to his Manly values, often punching guys he catches trying to do so and then lecturing them, though this may be him simply trying to look good in front of the opposite sex.

Bio: Raised on a farm in the countryside of Karakura town by his widowed father, Yuusei was always a recklessly righteous child, always rushing into problems that he had no business in, from simple disputes between friends to full on brawls, always, of course, being shooed away for trying to butt in. Yuusei had always aspired to become a police officer, it was not because he had a particular role model nor had a inspirational experience with a officer of the law, but rather his righteous heart believed he would be able to help the most as a member of the police force. It was as such that Yuusei spent a majority of his allowance on many police related material and media, costumes, play sets, movies, manga, books, video games, even a bb gun modeled after the typical Japanese police officer’s New Nambu M60 revolver, anything he could use his money on to expand his knowledge on how law enforcement operates. He would use this accumulated knowledge for his future endeavors to dish out righteousness to help in the problems of others, no matter how small, but as he was a child, it still was greatly unwelcomed by many. This would rise as a frustration in the youth, believing that no one could take him seriously as he was nothing but a child without any sort of validated experience under his belt. This frustration would eventually be the catalyst for an experience that would haunt Yuusei for the rest of his days. It was a cold spring night, well past midnight; Yuusei had been unable to fall asleep because of his frustrations, these feelings would quickly be replaced by panic as lights would shine in from his window. Knowing full well this could mean people were potentially invading his family’s property, a even greater worry they were thieves, Yuusei would take his bb gun, zip ties, a vigilant personal alarm, and sneak out of the house in an attempt to catch the thieves and gain the recognition he so desperately wanted. Following the lights, Yuusei would find the culprits, digging behind the farm’s silo. He didn’t see what they were digging for, or burying, he simply acted reckless and revealed himself, pointing the toy gun right at the three invaders of his family’s property. All three of them were young, late teens to early twenties, all dressed like ruffians who had lost faith in society. One would attempt to grab the child, only for Yuusei to grab his vigilant personal alarm and let it ring out for as long as he could. The lights from neighboring houses would flick on, as well as his own home’s, he had alerted his parents and neighbors. Fortunately this would panic the youths enough to make them flee the scene, however the lights they brought would ensure that Yuusei knew their faces, but the opposite was very true as well.
The police were alerted and came to the farm, Yuusei receiving a scolding from them and his parents for putting himself in danger, but he nonetheless would be praised for stopping the suspicious activity by everyone but his father. The police would find what was being dug up, or rather what was being buried; a corpse of a young man who had been stabbed. Wishing to investigate further, the police would found not just two more bodies buried deep behind the silo, but discarded drugs as well. Launching a large investigation, Yuusei, upon telling the police he saw their faces and they saw his, would be put into witness protection along with his parents as the child gave a description of their faces as best as he could. Within a week the youths would be arrested, two of them would be given jail time, but the youngest of the trio would walk away free, but not without having someone take his place. The youth’s father was a member of the cabinet who had used his influence to hire a crooked defense attorney who would use falsified evidence to “prove” the delinquent’s “innocence,” while also “proving” that Yuusei's father had coerced and offered his land as a disposal unit for the three delinquents in exchange for money. Unexpectedly, Yuusei hadn’t put up a fight, he feigned acknowledgement of his so called “crime,” claiming he needed the money for the farm. With this, he too would be sent off to jail, living a hell he didn’t deserve. This would send Yuusei into a spiral of despair, blaming himself for putting his father in the situation, blaming his sense of righteousness so severely he would destroy every law enforcement related item he had bought, swearing off his dream of joining the police force.
This dread would last for five years, Yuusei, now in middle school, having become a shell of his former self, losing the enthusiasm and righteousness he once exhibited so many times as a child. He himself would become a delinquent, getting into many fights with others, often being the antagonizer and losing for the most part. This was a subconscious desire to punish himself for what he did to his father, believing he should suffer worse than what his father was going through in prison. But soon that rage would cause his strength to build up, winning more fights, eventually taking over his middle school and making all of its delinquents into his underlings. Fate would be on the side of the parent and child however as a defense lawyer would take up the father’s case with the help of one of the detectives who investigated the father, both claiming to have gathered enough evidence to prove the mockery in court and free the innocent man. This would spur the youth who escaped to turn himself into the police, admitting that the evidence had been falsified and that Yuusei's father was actually under duress the entire time, that Yuusei's life, had been threatened if the father and husband hadn’t taken the fall, that the youth’s father would make their lives hell, the years of guilt having bubbled up far too fiercely for him to contain this atrocity any longer. After a retrial that went without a single instance of corruption, Yuusei's father would be released from prison and reunited with his family. It was this string of events that would relight the righteousness within Jishiro, having regained his faith in justice, but his faith in the law wouldn't return. Deciding to continue his delinquent lifestyle as he moved onto high school, Yuusei would uphold his own sense of justice while building up his self image and claiming Karakura town as his turf, and any who would disturb its peace would meet his fist.
