Has anyone seen a ghost in real life?

My encounter with one happened at school. I went into a part of the building that was "closed off", no one is alloud there but I was curious and ignored the rules.

The place was completely run down. The ceiling is caving, paint on the walls are peeling, a coat of dust everywhere, spiderwebs like out of a horror movie, and there are three rooms there...all of which were paddlocked shut. I had a wierd feeling once I got there. It flet like I wasn't alone and someone or something was watching me. I sat at the top of the stairs and looked at my surroundings thinking that that wierd feeling was only my mind playing tricks. There is no heating or airconditioning there and the place was about 78 degrees from a window above the stairs. I looked out the window and saw a nice view of the sun. All of a sudden it got freezing cold, just in an instant. I looked straight ahead and saw an image appearing infront of me. First I saw a face and then part of a body appeared. I looked at the face and noticed that the face was looking straight at me. The face looked angry...really the only way to describe it is that it looked evil, demented. I didn't want to see what was going to happen next so I darted out of there. Well, it was more like jumping down half the stairs and then running as fast as possible to get away.

I know, what a coward. Really, I wasn't. The face looked so angry and evil I am sure anyone and everyone would have done the same. I am out of school now and I am debating on going back with a camera. The only thing is that I am not sure that I want to see it again. I need someone to pursuade me. Or not, if you don't want to. I might eventually go back, but not alone.

I agree with Dazzler, you weren't a coward. I also agree that you should go back, mabey you an learn more about the spirit and they were probably just angry that you went in a place that they called their own. You can also ask them questions and they might answer, get ghost hunting gear, I think 2 taps/beeps is no and one tap/beep is yes.

heh, i definitely agree with the others, you were no coward there. personally, i have had a few encounters... Before, i was 'protected' and my Sight somewhat diminished I saw them.
My very first encounter was sometime in the wee hours of the day. And back then, there was this scandal of a dead girl, killed by her mother's best friend. I could feel she had been trapped off somewhere, and until she was released somehow I had the feeling that something was closing down on me. That morning, the feeling was gone, and I suddenly woke up to a shadow on my ceiling, sitting up rather suddenly, I realised my room was colder then usual, and when I looked off my bed, I saw her. She looked exactly like the pictures I had seen, just thinner and perhaps more beautiful in someways. She looked happier then I remembered and she smiled at me and as I got off my bed she stood up from her position. Then I saw, she had been crying. Only when she left, did I try to figure what had happened.
When I read the headlines it read, 'Dead Girl's Corpse Found, Murderer sentenced to Death' only then did I realise it was her.
Till today, I puzzle about it...

I've had a few encounters in my time,some of them scared me and others I wanted to know more about what I was seeing, I believe it is on your own account if you'd like to go back,but as many others have said,you should put your safety first.
