What if when the MMO is released then nobody will be on Gaia and it will go down hill to point that they have to make it a pay site!!!

Where to start with this one...
1.) Gaia is growing pretty steadily, and the odds of everyone just shutting down and not being here is... amazingly low. I remember a time when you could go into the GD, post and not have to bump for half an hour or so, even if noone posted. That, is how much we've grown here.
2.) Diehards. Like me, many of Gaia's users have been around pretty much since the beginning. I'm not sure some of the newer users really understand what it is thats about to happen. This is something that started from scratch years ago, and has slowly been building itself up. These other games, they are not just games. They are tests! Fishing was the first step, proving that it was possible to integrate the Gaia world into Flash games. Towns was but an experiment into mapmaking and locale management. Almost everything that Gaia has done has brought us to this point! This is perhaps the most excited I have ever been about Gaia, even including the Zurg Plot. xd
3.) Its almoste heeeeeeeeeeere! ninja
4.) Its a free MMO with a ready made player base. What's not to like? I predict with its release even more of the internet community will be drawn to gaia.
Basically, yeah it would suck if nobody was on Gaia, and they made it a paysite. But its not going to happen.

I thought you meant all of Gaia, MMO included xd Well, I'm fairly certain that that won't be an issue. Even for groups that play almost exclusively MMO will probably still have guilds and such where they can chat and hang out without necessarily all being on at the same time. And many will continue in the way that they have always done. It will be interesting to see, since MMO's usually bring forth forums, and not the other way around.

I'm pretty sure the Gaia MMO will be browser based, so the user will be FORCED to log onto Gaia to play the game. Besides, I'm sure the forums and such will be just as lively as after the MMO is released as it is now.

The MMO will be a free, popup-style window game, just like Towns. There will be no paying for anything, it will all be free. The forums will be fine, if not even more flooded with spam and rants. No need to worry, kay?
