I can upgrade peoples abilities in this guild. I never really saw a point to it, but I might as well make people quasi-mods.
Just post who you think should be a mod. You can't vote for yourself. And if you have plenty of votes, you have no choice in the matter- you are given the position of mod. Those that crave power put it to least use. As Plato himself thought, philosophers make the best leaders. I recommend;
Sotek, Xander LeMagre, and redem.
These guys strike me as the most active current members of the Guild. Sexiness is not a requisite for a title of responsibility, so don't just pick the sexiest members (like JoVo and Noraboo, or Lysia, off the top of my head). Pick people who really know what they are talking about, or who really get pissed off by creationism. Preferably both.

The real questions are:
What are the duties of mod-equivilants?
What are the advantages of being one?
How can one become one?
If there're no duties, some advantages, and anyone can become one, count me in.

I'm not sure. You get limited abilities to ******** around with people's posts, including your own. I suppose having four or five mods would be appropriate. They wouldn't really have a job, per se, since you can post pretty much anything in this forum; it's never going to be cluttered.
You can update quotes, if you like, and add to the link list, but the most important thing is to keep the guild more active. It's far too quiet in here. Unlike many Gaian's, I'm not one for needless banter, though I like to keep things going.

Nothing, I was just saying that that's what I would want to happen if I was to become one, or if I was to not become one, because it sounds, to me, like a good idea.
But.. becoming a 'modlet' of this guild doesn't sound too impressive. It's quite small, wouldn't you say?
