What'd'yareckon? I didn't catch the hole thing but it was pretty good. Next week's episode is going to be s**t, I can feel it. I'll rant more about how next week's episode seems retarded later.

I was right about the cliffhanger. XD And I don't know if I mentioned it on here, but I was right about what would happen to Luke - I said to someone that he'd join the Doctor, then either become a much improved person, or sacrifice himself.
...Does he remind anyone else of Adric? Specifically Four to Doomsday!Adric. If anyone doesn't know, in Four to Doomsday, Adric is initially convinced by the enemy that what they're doing is good, then realises that he's been wrong and helps the Doctor. Then gets blown up, though not in the same story. Oh, and they're both teenage geniuses. XD

Ya beat me to it today!
I'm not sure. It was OK, but not the greatest.
I'll rewatch it and see if I can form a bigger opinion of it.

Anyone catch Rose Tyler on the screen? The "Are you my Mummy?" crack made me laugh though.
I really really REALLY hope that they somehow make next weeks episode not suck.

tennantsbutterfly HappyBanana Anyone catch Rose Tyler on the screen? Yep, shouting "Doctor". I'm sooo wondering how the Rose Tyler thing will turn out. I really am worrying about the next episode. The daughter MIGHT work if you have a good writer handling it. I'm not sure if I trust Stephen Greenhorn to do it.

I was expecting this episode to suck, not being entirely thrilled about part 1, but it played out better than I thought it would. The burning sky solution was a bit easy, and I don't quite get why the fireball didn't go all the way down to the surface of the planet when there was > 60% Sontaran gas food choking everyone on the streets... and I really don't get why the Atmos devices ceased working after the fire.
Still, it was mostly good. I liked how Sylvia busted the car window with a hatchet (it's such an obvious solution, so it's nice to see someone in the show actually do it!). I was expecting the Rattigan Academy to be more involved with the show somehow, but having them just all walk away from the loony genius kid was a decent (and unexpected) resolution. By far, the coolest thing for me was when Col. Mace defied the Doctor and had the UNIT grunts spank the Sontarans senseless. Yeah... about time. Good re-use of the Valiant, too. The only caveat is that, geez, the Sontarans sure are easy to kill once you can actually shoot them. What's that battle armor made of, tissue paper?
It's also a bit creepy that the Doctor is still flying his TARDIS around with his little hand in a jar thing by the console. Isn't it time he buried it, or incinerated it, or... something... with it already?!

Hairy Priest It's also a bit creepy that the Doctor is still flying his TARDIS around with his little hand in a jar thing by the console. Isn't it time he buried it, or incinerated it, or... something... with it already?! But he loves his hand in a jar. I for one freaked when I saw Rose. I wasn't really paying attention, I glanced at the screen, saw her, fell off my chair, climbed back on my chair, then rewond to watch the thing again just to make sure I hadn't dozed off, as I have been known to have dreams in which I was in the TARDIS. I almost fell off my chair with the "Are you my mummy?" thing, again I was caught of guard. But aside from that, I didn't find it all to impressive, it was good, I enjoyed it when I went back and watched it properly, but it wasn't one of their best. I'm a little leery of next weeks episode, though I knew that he had to have a son or daughter, as he has a granddaughter all the way back as Doc!#1, I just think things might get a bit soap opera-ish. At least on the parts of the companions,

Haha, yes, that was brilliant! XD
I'm also wincing a bit at the thought of the next episode. It's a brave episode to try and do, but there's sooo many ways they could mess it up. And I'm usually pretty optimistic about this sort of stuff.

Well I wasnt really happy about last weeks episode, it was a bit of a let down, but I did enjoy the poison sky, apart from the easy solutions to most of the problems I thought it was overall rather good.
Rose popped up again , it caught me offgaurd to, I had to ask my sister if she saw it too, and then once I had watched the episode I had to go back and watch it a million times, so Rose is trying to contact the doctor through the TARDIS?
I kept going back to the "are you my mummy" bit. But was I the only person to find it hard watching Martha talk to her clone? it was just a bit weird.

I blinked when Rose popped up on the screen, so I missed her slightly....only catching a glimpse of her.
What I'm confused about is why there were still clouds in the sky after the atmosphere had been burnt. :/
Loved the "Are you my mummy?" line. xD

the ending annoyed me, because everybody would die if he blew up the atmosphere, even if it was only the Sontaron's clone feed. It had already taken up over 66% of the atmosphere and everybody would have inhaled some. Oh well, they regularly do ridiculous things like that. Also the Sontarons died WAY too easily. The best soldiers in the world being killed by a few bullets? Seems a tad incredibly unlikely. I love all the bits with Rose in them. I preferred the previous episode, but then again always do. :3
I'm dreading the next episode, she really reminds me of Rose and Britney Spears. D:

I wanted to know why they were excluded from the Time War. I mean, seriously if they'd turned up would everyone else have been like "oh psht, you weren't invited - pleb. You've ruined our war!" and gone off and forgotten about it? :/ Hm.
Did they say summat bout the Brig and Peru? I missed that, if so.
I thought I'd imagined Rose to be honest! Glad others saw her too. sweatdrop
