After reading around the MMO website, I came across a bit of information that may be helpful to us later. I hadn't seen any other topics in the forum about it, so I decided I'd post it.Quote: The remains of the old aqueduct that was used before the Durem Reclamation Facility came online are still present here, although dilapidated and fallen now into beautiful ruin. The jungles to the northwest stretch down this far, but have not yet fully consumed the old stones. The Zurg artifact called the Star Portal lies dormant here still, guarded by a handful of ever-present GIB agents.

Possible storyline plot indeed! Good find! Ever since the initial release of the website we've been intrigued by that statement.

We did find this quite a bit earlier, when the battle system first released.
My assumption is that there are going to be NPC GiB agents, and they will run the show for us. Instead of the actual Agents. They'll probably send the user on several quests involving killing alien type enemies, or collecting items, or the such.
I talked to a developer about it a loooonggg time ago. Haha.

My assumption is that there are going to be NPC GiB agents, and they will run the show for us. Instead of the actual Agents. They'll probably send the user on several quests involving killing alien type enemies, or collecting items, or the such.
I talked to a developer about it a loooonggg time ago. Haha. -shrug- As long as they don't make us seem like Douche bags. Do you think we could ask them if we could design the agent NPCs? We could have Agent Smith, a TIM-look-a-like, Charity (whose gender needs to be changed back to female, I think.).... and.... I dunno we could vote on someone else.... that would be mad awesome.

Hmm, if anyone could like to assist me after the MMO comes out, as for the Aqueduct, I would like to have a team of members to poke around that area first thing, and see what all else's guarding it, as well as if we can actually see the Zurg item itself.
Also, I would like to see just how nice they made the Agent NPCs look, but that's beside the point.

An NPC of TIM? That would be a sight to see. Even TIM would be happy to see his clone.

Everytime I read that I giggle. I remember the first time the Battle page was up, I screamed and then ran to tell my mom... of course, she couldn't understand what a big deal it was.

The Hive are competely zurg-o-centric, so unless they actually brought the Zurg back, it'd be kind of a stretch. The GiB meanwhile, are fairly flexible in our application to the situations. Believers and Old Guard... that's really really debatable. Paul McLawl hasn't been seen in an elephant's age, sadly. I don't think half of our members even know him. And c'mon! I should totally be an easy in. crying *mumbles and goes to pout in the corner* emo
