So, for those of you have seen the site and heard the announcement, we had some updates. New characters, new monsters, new rings. Fun, fun. Personally, I think Nicolae is hot. >.> Anyway, what did you think?

Ever since my upward spiral into the realm of Kingdom of Loathing, my standards for a good stat-grinding game have been astrally raised. In short, it will be hard to truly pique my intrigue with the MMO.
However, I did scrape a curious bit of fascination from the crafted items world of the website - the baubles themselves I don't care so much about, but the integration and correlation with the presented locales did prove to be rather furrowing.
From what I could piece together, one can forge an Otami Ruin Explorer (Mayan) ensemble by roaming the eponymous Otami Ruins. The ninjitsu get-up seemed to lend itself to the spirit of the whispered Zen Garden. My extrapolation, of course... If the Aqueducts carries a strong essence of GIB flatfoots and Star Portal mystique, is it possible we could get some authentic, starchy Secret Agent Man swag made custom for the Gaians in oh-so-fashionable Black?

However, I play mostly for the brilliant writing, it's rather delicious; a veritable feast for the comedic humors. That being said, on a video game level, I wouldn't say it's a sheer masterpiece, but certainly time-swilling.
