Personality: Khala's a fairly responsible girl, quiet and composed, though she counts herself one of the lucky ones to have been born with surviving family, and she feels quite happy to have started her own family. As she becomes a better Ghost-Speaker, she's going to be a little sad neither of her sons has the ability, but happy that they don't have to LISTEN to the dead. She's also pretty smart, which is beneficial in learning her magic alone, which is still very hard and disturbing.
History: Khala was one of two eggs born to her parents, and the only one her grandfather found once the plague had ended. She was raised with other previously unhatched orphans of the disaster. She inherited from her mother and her grandfather before her the Ghost-Speaker ability, an ability she keeps down to a dull roar as she doesn't understand what's going on.

Personality: Fraise is a tough girl, strong and brave, but she's also unfortunately got a sharp tongue that can get her into trouble. She's nervous that she's not a good mother, but in reality, when she has her second batch, they will have loving parents who love each other. Her first clutch is going to have to live with the pain Fraise unintentionally forced on them.
History: Fraise was the tough girl in her family, with gentle parents, a sister to be protected, and a brother in the mix she didn't get along with. She went wandering, met Oliver, had an ONS with him, and after she laid the eggus, Oliver left with their son. Talk about ungrateful. Fraise didn't want to take her rage out on her daughters she was afraid she'd be a terrible mother to, so she left her daughters with their grandparents and went wandering, coming back from time to time in their childhood. She eventually came to the Mountain Road, still a bit bitter, when she met Arbre, who began to change her life around....

Personality: Xue is a determined loner, intelligent and antisocial to the point where if you're a pest, he automatically hates you.
History: Xue has always been a loner, so why Maxine followed him has always been beyond him, being a lovesick pest. He was not happy to find out she had drugged him, gotten him to impregnate her, and left him with the girls. He didn't hate the girls necessarily, but he did make sure they learned how to survive on their own and would be able to live strong.

Personality: Sandhya is at heart a spirted soul. All that's changed is what she is on the surface: she began as a tomboy and ended as someone who everyone considers as Yves' most worthy and true lady, and that took a lot of hard work on her own.
History: Sandhya was a bit of a tomboy and used to get into a lot of trouble when she was young. It was understandably shocking that she and Yves fell in love, given his drive to start a pack, a job that requires patience, dignity, self-control, and abiding by the rules. She's come pretty far as a mother and as Yves' beloved mate.

Personality: OS is a very loving soul. When he loves, he loves those beings more than life or anything else. He is pretty responsible, though he has lied to protect his loved ones from the brutal truth of the plague and its cause.
History: OS was a gifted Ghost-Speaker, and eventually he became a Guardian. He had one surviving child, his daughter Sitara, who had abilities like him and was in time raised to be her father's equal. He spoiled his only child because he loved her very deeply, and felt that all males were unworthy of his daughter. He did quarrel with his daughter's chosen mate, causing his daughter to go off with her mate and eggs out of his reach. When his mate died, he was so grief-stricken that he attempted to raise Asha from the dead. It temporarily succeeded, and threw the balance of life and death so far out of whack that the plague was caused. In repentance, he has saved and hatched a lot of eggus on his own. In addition, there is a special condition to his existence: he and Asha have always been reborn together and in love. He always finds her and takes her as his mate. It is the way of his soul and Asha, though it was a mistake for him to become Guardian. He may never rise to become a Guardian again.
