I dare say, I had the most marvelous thought: What would happen if our beloved Goblin King or perhaps our affectionate Ludo were to walk around in the real world?

Heh, I'm too afraid that Ludo will be stalked by crazy photographers who swear they have finally seen Bigfoot. I always wondered if Ludo and yetis were related...
As for Jareth, well, he's is so vain, it wouldn't take him more than five minutes to magic himself into something that would better fit in, being that tights and mullets are out of style. How would he adapt socially? Heh, he'd have a rude awakening if he wound up in the USA. Everyone would label him a snob and have nothing to do with him.

I say they would fit right in! ~ This is a crazy world... why not! They could always get jobs with Jim Henson Studios.

- I like the idea of being 'afraid of americans' ~ altough if the Goblin King met Trent Reznor on the street... THAT is a movie I'd like to see! I mean other than the video of David Bowie and Trent running around.
Sir Did would be a Scrabble master.... of course...

The Wise Man and his hat - would not only lecture at Harvard.... but they would become the most sought after hat model(s) on the runways of Paris,

I'd rather like to think of the goblins as our neighborhood animal catcher. They have one heck of a fun time chasing around chickens in Jareth's throne room, so, why not step it up a bit and take of our stray problem.
That does strike my fancy, Ludo being related to a yeti. Perhaps they're cousins? D; I could get lost in the forest, meet Big Foot and say, "Yo. I know your cousin: Ludo."
"Do you? Then please, step right on into my cave and enjoy the fire."
"Don't mind if I do, thank you."
"Now. How is the dear old boy?" biggrin D
Now. Aside from being a model, what could Jareth's occupation be? Perhaps a door-to-door saleman? If something doesn't sell, he can, y'know, dish out some personal services. I wouldn't mind opening the door for him. ;D
I don't think I could agree with the Wise Man being a professor at Harvard, Your Lordship. His talking is rather slurred, someone may think he's in special needs. Probably a 1-800 advice consultant. (1-800-WSE-BIRD)

ha that is something to consider.
All I have to say is that jareth would be mobbed by zombie fangirls.
fangirls can be deadly *shifty eyes*
Plus it'd be funny if they met their actor counter parts.
sarah and jennifer would be named the two most beautiful women ever and jareth and david would have a wonderful time offering fanservice...to the rabid fangirls.....*shivers*
And If I met them do this to jareth. *pokes him hard in the chest and unleashes spazz wrath upon him* and say "When I was four I wished for a plushie so where is it bub!"
Thats just me though.
