Fernpelt padded out of the nursery and streched. Not long ago she moved there and soon her kits were born. She was so happy they were all born well but... Everytime she saw Blazekit it made her break as she remebered Fireheart. And now, she knew the truth. Practically every cat in the whole clan knew the truth about her and Fireheart. How she had fallen for him. Ignoring her rising thoughts Fernpelt walked towards the freshkill pile and snatched a water vole to dine on.

Crimsoncall watched as the unusual Fernpelt walked by her, snatching up a vole to feast on. The sudden waft of the nursery quickly alerted her to Fernpelts situation. A Queen. She rose to her fours and nervously wandered over to the Queen, giving her a soft nuzzle in greeting. "Excuse me Fernpelt. Have you a moment?" She purred playfully.

Fernpelt was shocked by the touc and turned around to see Crimsoncall. "Oh hello Crimsoncall, what do you need?" She dug a small hole and buried the remains of the prey and returned her attention back to Crimsoncall. It wasn't everyday that Fernpelt got a greeting from any cat because her life was practically spent in the nursery.

She returned a warm gaze to Fernpelt. "I'm curious, tell me, how are the kits? I hope all is well" She lay herself down on a small patch of dirt. Her fluffy coat keeping the cold breeze from freezing her.
