Dawnpaw woke early his eyes scanning the dark den with cation. Afraid to let anyone know that he was awake, because he was going to sneak out again. Sure everyone was asleep he crept from the den and into the camp's center. Looking towards the medicine cat den, he wondered how his sister was. He had heard that she would be allowed to get back to her normal life today. It was a pity he couldn't spend it with her he had other plans.
Moving in the dark like liquid in ink, Dawnpaw moved as quietly as possible towards the camp exist. He rested for a moment just outside the camp just in case someone had seen him. If they had he could merely say he was waiting for everyone to wake up.

Duskpaw's tail twitched as she slept... There's that juicy mouse! She stalked it slowly and as she prepared to pounce...
Duskpaw awoked with a start. Today was the day. The day she got her old life back. She could get out of this boring den and do apprentice stuff. Of course she had to keep in mind not to overdue it. She padded out of the den her padds skimming silently over the fround as she got out. As soon as she was out she streched. I'll go tell Dawnpaw the big news! She thought excitedly to herself. Slowly she padded to the den not with so much silence as before. "Dawnpaw guess what! Dawnpaw?" She looked in the den, he was gone... She walked out of the den sadly and sniffed the air. Dawnpaw's scent! It's fresh too! She quietly walked towards where it lead to the camp entrance. Almost immediately she spooted him. Without warning she dashed into a bush and hid there. What am I doing? How could I spy on him? Those thoughts roared through her head as she watched her brother.

Dawnpaw's eyes narrowed and he sniffed the air. With a sudden jolt of speed Dawnpaw was off, he seemed to glide through the lands rather then stumble like he used too, but in away his muscles seemed to be holding back some. He ran strait past a small bird just asking to be pounced. Dawnpaw did not even flinch as it flew near his face. If one was to estimate his path they would think he was heading strait for Carrionplace, but this was not his destination.
As he moved closer he drastically slowed his pace. Seemingly becoming more aware of his surroundings. He had been here several times before and for some reason rats had been straying further away from Carrionplace them normal. For a lone cat this could be a deadly encounter, but Dawnpaw seemed determined to move onwards. And yet as alert as he was he still didn't seem to notice anyone was following.
Moving once more he picked his way towards a drier part of some swamp water. He walked through the mud and twitched his ears the the bugs that seemed to swarm the place. He still seemed to be on high alert. Dawnpaw had seen a few lone rats in this area not to long a go and where there is one there are more surely to follow. Before long the swamp started to dry and Dawnpaw quickened his pace as the footing became more clear.
It wasn't long till a Thunderpath came into view, it wasn't as large as the one dividing the Shadow and Thunderclan territories, but it still had it's awful stink. Dawnpaw seemed to move towards it with not much worry, it was early in the morning not to many monsters were awake yet and the yellow glow from their eyes would give away their position before they were to close to get away from. Dawnpaw had also noticed that monsters moved slower here. He figured it was because their path was smaller and they were afraid of hitting each other. Without a second thought he bounded across the Thunderpath into some brush on the other side vanishing completely from site.

((Sorry, I sort of shot the gun... I haven't RPed in 2 days so I felt like making it up to myself... sweatdrop ))
Duskpaw paws felt like they were on wings as she ran behind Dawnpaw. What was he up to? She nearly jumped out of her fur as the bird flew towards her. The prey practically begged to be caught and her brother had ignored it. She lept up at the bird and snagged its wing. She delivered the finishing blow when she realized she strayed from he mission of following her brother. She cursed herself and quickly kicked dirt over the prey.
Sniffing the air she instantly smelled his scent again. Determined not to lose it she ran after it dareful to keep a careful distance incase he stopped or cared to look behind him. Soon she neared the Carrionplace, passing her her fur bristled as she kept up her amazing pace across the swamy land. She stopped for a moment a little ways away from the Carrionplace. Thoughts roared through her mind... Was she really meant for ShadowClan territory? Everything here weakened her. From the Carrionplace to the swamps. They had all been a bad experience for her. She shook the thoughts out of her mind. What was she thinking? She would have to be a loyal ShadowClan warrior if it killed her. She refocused her mind on her brother and dashed after his scent once again.
Duskpaw relaxed as the path took her away from Carrionplace and the swampiest of the territory. The path that Dawnpaw had taken... It was so... Upnredictable. Soon the Thunderpath came to her view and she stopped a few inches from it. This was where his scent ended. That was strange he couldn't have possibly disappeared... She looked across the border straing her eyes to see. Within a bush near the Highstones was the familiar pelt of... Her brother.
The truth hit her hard and her paws trembled. Her thoughts roared, why could he possibly need to come here? She knew what she had to do now. She had to follow... Thoughts of what her brother might say if he say her stormed into her mind. "How could you distrust me? Your own brother!" She ignored them. I have to follow him... For his own good...
Duskpaw looked to both sides of the Thunderpath. The two sides looked endless, like they could go on forever. She waited for a moment with no monsters and positioned herself, for when she made it to the other side she must not be seen by her brother. As soon as a monster flashed passed her, the stench and the flash of the sun of its pelt shone in her eyes but she ignored the pain andf shock. Her chance came exactly as the monster passed. The second that could not be missed no matter what. She dashed onto the Thunderpath and ran across.
It felt like centuries until she finally crossed. Her heart felt like it would burst out of her chest as she panted. Then it dawned to her. She was in sight of anyone dared to look in her direction. As quickly as she could she ran into the nearest bush that was infact pretty far from her brother's. She was safe... But for how long?
