So today at lunch, I'm talking to a friend of mine about my bass lesson. I tell him that I learned a Bob Marley song. My friend then says that he never heard of Marley. I couldn't believe it and started explaining who exactly Marley was and what he did, when this emo kid walks by us, hears us, and proclaims "Bob Marley? Dude, dont believe what he's saying, Marley was some f*****t reggae singer who wanted peace, but he was a dumbass because with all the wars that make people sad and hurt eachother(or his "problems" and "himself" in his case) true peace will never happen. He got shot because of it." Instantly, I got up, pushed his a** to the floor and was about to kick his a** before a security guard came and detained me. I got in school suspension tomorrow, but damn, just pushing him to the floor did not feel worth it.

I would have, but they give us plastic sporks to prevent that exact reason.

I agree. Not a fan of the music and his marijuana doing but he was a good man.

Dude, you should have gone on a viking rampage on him. That little s**t obviously has no idea what Bob Marley stood for. Sure he may have had the secret garden of marijuana in his backyard, but his music was great and he had a great cause. Bashing Bob Marley like that is just senseless.

How am I bashing? Is it wrong for me to not care about his story of false bravado?

I'm sorry I'm not impressed with someone getting angry over nothing.

Except, obviously, in this instance in which it was hardly "bashing", more like "I don't really give a s**t" to a story that basically said "I got mad and shoved a skinny kid because he doesn't like Bob Marley."
