For me, I'd go with Ryo.
Why - well one i'm a pyrolover - meaning i love fire
two - the Rekka(Widlfire) armor is, to me, just awesome and can up-grade into a white suit ((named 'infenro' in american))
And also, Ryo's determined attitude is a plus with me,

well i have to say that at first it was pretty boy sage/seiji (forgive me if i mess up the japanese names as i dont use them) he usualy is the most popular with girls but then i fell in love with Ryo and i knew i just had to love his self sacrificing style smile ya it got to the point that i ended up doing this.... which is kinda contradictory to how i am personally as i love green and forests and such... and fire+forest=bad.... it all works out for my story character though as she has fire in her armor (along with ice and wind...) sweatdrop ya i'm being quiet now....

We~ll at first it was Seiji (Sage), but everyone loves him, so I slowly and I mean slowly, started to head over heels for Shin (Cye). But then, my heart went to the Generals, but the only one that has my heart is Nazza (Sekhmet). I mean, come on, bad guys need some lovin as well. SO I side with the Mashos. 3nodding

It's a tough decision as to who my favorite is, but I'd say mine is Kale/Anubitsu. He just has that tall, dark and handsome look to him that I like.

Alright, so you want honesty? My favorite is really Cye, wasn't to begin with, but there you have it. However, as I rewatched, and rewatched the show, and then watched it again, my heart went out to Anubis. I mean, I know he got into the whole "bad guy" gig by being a selfish little jerk, but he found who he really was again and fought his way out, in the end really helping the Ronin Warriors and (looks away for those of you who don't know the ending, spoiler alert) gives his life as a sacrifice in the end, I have to say he is ultimately the most amazing character in the series and is a VERY VERY VERY close second to my beautiful brown haired sweetheart with the glorious accent.

As I said in one of my other posts, what I love about this show is the fact that each character is very endearing to me (the exception might be Yuli, but someone wrote a fanfic about him and my attitude has softened towards him a bit).
That being said, here goes:
Rowen: Rowen appealed to me from the get-go. My favorite color is blue, I like smart characters, my head's always in the clouds, and I was an archery nut (favorite disney movie was Robin Hood).
Kento: Kento I determined would be my bestest friend in real life. I see him as a strong, fun-loving type who would be very protective of his friends and turn into a big teddy bear if I had a bad day.
Ryo: If I had a brother, Ryo would be it. but I'd always pictured him as a twin, an equal but opposite to myself (very yin-yang).
Dais: He is my favorite of the generals. I view him as a very wise and wicked mentor. Oh the webs he weaves.
Sage: Never put much thought into it because he was my best friend's favorite and thus off limits. ^_-
Anubis: See above, but with different friend.
Cye: I about died when I moved and started a new school - there was a guy who was a grade ahead of me with chin length sandy brown hair with an austrailian accent who happened to be star of the swim team. His name? Cye. I cannot make this S*** up!!! I'd see him in the halls and melt. He never knew I existed. >_<
