If money and travel wasn't an issue which temple would you like to get married in? I would like to get married in the London temple, which is so far away. Yes, I live in Utah and to me London is a far away place... My family is from England and I would love to do that very important experince there... somday at least.

But it's special to me since I helped raise money for it back when I was in Young Women's, went to the open house and dedication (which was my first time inside a whole temple (just baptisms before biggrin ), and took out my Endowments there.

But another important one to me is the Laie Hawaii Temple... when I was living there and going to school it was the time I actually gained my OWN testimony. It was a symbol to me, a reminder of it.

And then there is the Salt Lake Temple. Mostly because when I was a little girl I thought that it was THE temple. The ONLY temple.

BUT any temple I got married in would BECOME a special temple to me. hee hee!

I was married in the Columbia River, Washington Temple. My husband I discussed going to all these different temples at first. I like the Portland because that's where I recieved my endowments or the Seattle because that's where my family was sealed when I was little. My husband like the Boise temple because that's where he lived through his teenage years. But if I had the opportunity to do it all over again and go anywhere in the world, I'd still choose to do it in the Columbia River temple. Everytime we visit it, I am reminded of that day. I don't think it would be the same if I were married in some far away temple.

Well, let's see. I think it would be the first Temple President Monson dedicated. It's the Rexburg, Idaho temple. Go ahead and search for it, there are some great pictures. I live in Utah, so it isn't too far away, but still a fair bit. I think I'd be happy anywhere. Marriage seems to be an eternity down the road (I won't be able to date for four more months), but I like thinking about the beauty of the temples and their sacred services.

I'd like to get married in whichever temple works out best when I'm planning. The Boston temple holds a special place in my heart though

We were married in the Cardston Alberta Temple. It was lovely. It was always special to me. The mountains in the background, my family was sealed there when I was little, did most of the temple trips there. There really was no other option anyways. And all the family could come because they lived near it.

Though, I must say after seeing the Celestial Room of the Vegas Temple on our honeymoon, that was the most gorgeous room ever! It was night so the moonlight and all was coming in the windows (which are just amazing designs!).

We got married in the Palmyra temple. It was amazing! The floral outside was just beautiful. I only wish we could have done a session there.

Most of my husbands family were married in the St. George, UT temple. It's nice, but since I go there alot, it seems to be the standard one in my mind.

And ConcreteAngel, I have to agree with you on the Vegas Celestial room. I've never seen one so beautiful!

Of course, I'd be fine getting married in any temple, they're all special places where we can be even closer to Our Father, but if I could choose any temple, I would choose one in Japan, I've always wanted to go there, my dad's grandparents are from there, and that's where I would like to serve the mission I've been promised I could serve. It doesn't matter which temple in Japan, as I said, they're all special places!

Well some one told me once you are going to get married in the Den Haag temple someday...
But I can't tell if it's really gonna happen. The temple I have a big memory of is the Frankfurt-Temple where my parents always went to when I was little. When I was 5 the Temple season was in the school Vacation so a lot of people went with their Family.
I remember having a wonderful time there the parents would go to the temple and we kids would go to the nearby church. I just loved playing with all my friends from the church every day (something I normally only could on Sundays or other days if arranged). After that the parents where done we could go back to the Temple Hotel and play some more with the other kids. I only hated the fact for being 5 years old. Other kids could stay up a little longer and I could hear them play hide and seek in the halls while I had to sleep (thats torture for little kids).
Also every day an other group of kids could go take a look inside the temple... Ok it wasn't really "inside the temple" it was more like Going through the hallway standing in the I don't know how to call it... Wait room? hall? ... they would open a door and we could see one of the oxes of the baptismal font. It was huge...
I remember before this I was really looking forward to that day. I didn't really liked the dress my mother made me wear because it was to plain compared to the beautiful ones Denise and Melanie got to wear. They actually had a white dress on they still had from being flower girls at some one else's wedding. But my mother assured me the color or the look didn't matter because I was a child and that children look lovely no matter if the dress was as beautiful as the ones my friends had or not. So with these words I went happy with the other kids. And well what we saw is what I wrote up there. They also told us what other things where around in the temple and the photo's that where made just after the temple was build because we where to young to see it all...
Still I also remember a little 2 year old in the arms off her father dressed in white (mother was around too somewhere). They told us that they would be sealed to each other. So I really thought that little girl was so lucky because she could just go inside to see more with her parents...
Hmmm then there is the temple in Switzerland. My parents got married there ^_^ so in some ways that one is connected to me too... even if I haven't been there ... or maybe I could see that somewhere in heaven they showed it to me with the words they are going to be your parents ...
(If it would have been decided then already).
So yes if one then I would prefer one of these 3.
