I doubt it will be on the regular comic stands--find a good comic shop & check for it there.
The art has promise...you can tell they got rushed on the deadlines & gave the inking of a couple pages to somebody else who was pretty bad or just in a really big hurry, but in general the artist catches 10's manic energy.
And the comic has a cool little prologue about Galllifrey, the Time War & how the Doctor has become the last of his kind to fill in non-fan readers.

I'm sure my dad knows of a few - I still can't wait to see it! ^^
It'll be interesting to see how later comics look; I'm sure it probably won't be as rushed-looking or anything.. at least, not as much. razz

He has apparently promised Martha he would take her places until she finds the perfect chocolate milkshake, & they've been all over time & space seeking it out.
After that much chocolate consumption, I guess it's no wonder he's acting a tad wired. lol

I haven't been to a real comic shop in ages. Maybe I'll pick this up if it gets collected into trade format. The art's a bit, um, googly-eyed and grinny (in that image at least). Like they're impersonating Tom Baker on crack or something.
That said, I want a Frobisher cameo. mrgreen

Actually, although the art seems a tad...how shall I put it...fannish? They do a good job capturing his different expressions, crazy or intense. I just kinda like that one big panel. lol
The proportions aren't always right, like hands too big or (as in this one) ear too small & low, but I think it's done by someone who really cares if they make 10 act like 10, not just stand around saying things like a generic Doctor. That to me is more important as long as the art doesn't get too bad. I'm hoping the deadline thing will get better, not worse, but I've seen it snowball on other comics before.
I'll keep posting about issues as I get them. I have the 1st 3 pre-ordered so far.

OK, the second issue arrived today! biggrin
The art indeed looks cleaner & better-done. Some nice alien races shown throughout; I especially like the ones on the first page.
A story arc has just been introduced! Shadowy sinister beings are after the Doctor (surprise!).

Are these all-new alien races, or ones that have already established from the TV series? Any names associated with these aliens yet?

Currently they are mostly doing all new alien species. The ones on page one of issue 2 are said to be the inhabitants of the planet Kas.
From the "next issue" art, there will be at least one Catnun in issue 3. smile
